Hayo Zookeepers!

It's time to hit the road again, but this time, you're behind the wheel! We took you on a trip on our journey to the North America Animal Pack, and now we want to see YOUR favourite places! Build your favourite North American landmark (from anywhere in North America, not just the USA!) in Planet Zoo and you could be in with the chance to win ✨

Due to the range of different landmarks available, we're leaving it up to you how you enter - blueprints, a habitat, full park builds, a diorama? It's your road trip, so you get to pick!

If your destination is chosen as the winner then you'll receive one of our Planet Zoo: North America Animal Pack media kits, featuring your very own Beaver plushie friend, American sweets and some exciting Planet Zoo goodies!

Once your creation is finished, please send an email to community@frontier.co.uk with it attached (and a Steam Workshop link, if you upload it there!) to enter. All entries must be submitted by Thursday 21st October at 17:00 BST, so get building 💪

Hi Eltanin Casciani, I would like to join in, but I don't quite understand what you mean. Do I have to make a real existing building from North America or can I also come up with something myself?

Hello! It doesn't have to be a building, but any existing landmark (building, significant feature of landscape, etc) in North America that exists - you can put your own spin on it though :)

Great. My PC should work again in a few Days, so maybe I'll participate. I just don't know that many American Landmarks. I know most of those few that I know either from TV Shows, Movies, Fallout 3 and Fallout 4.
Maybe I'll do Lake Michigan if I'm able to make it look good in Planet Zoo. It was such a impressive Sight to see a dried out Version of this Lake in I Robot. I need to google what the Lake looks like with Water when I'm home.
I might also try to replicate the natural Habitat of the Prairie Chicken.
Maybe I'll also search online for North American Landmarks to get some Inspiration

This sounds fun! As a non-american, does somelne know a nice list of monuments to take inspiration from?
You mean like historical monuments? If so, there are places like The Alamo, Empire State Building, San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge, Mt. Rushmore, Statue of Liberty. Those are just a few that popped into my mind.

Or, you can do natural wonders, like the Grand Canyon, Old Faithful (a geyser), the Rocky Mountains, the Everglades, Yosemite National Park and Yellowstone Park.

Or even historical areas that may or may not be key to history. For example, I'm doing a set of pyramids from the 80s that are from Galveston (1 is an aquarium, another a jungle walkthrough. The 3rd is a museum, but since we can give a twist, I know what imma do), which back in the day used to be the major port of the US

EDIT: Just remembered: Route 66, a road that went from coast to coast. You may like that, too

Good to see that my newest Idea for the Competition isn't on the List. I hope (if I should be able to replicate it in the Game) that it will surprise absolutely everyone

I chose to make a sea lion enclosure out of the famous 'Lake Tahoe'. I also made a show to go with it (which was meant to feed the animals, but I found out that this is not possible if there is water underneath 😅). It is a franchise zoo so I had some money problems because of the food for the sea lions, that's why there are not so many in the pictures, meanwhile the number has doubled 😁

Frontier I really like this
I have been making a North American zoo based on national parks, national forests etc per animal.
My top 3 are Denali National park where I used to work. Green Mountain national Forest (Vermont is my home state) and Point Lobos in Monetary bay county.
Gonna polish them and then flip a coin to pick my submission.
