But upkeep is not affected.
However, getting a spot in the system to be able to get the discounted outfitting... well, that's an entirely different story
Yeah, was thinking about that this morning. I don't think there's any downside to selling services and then buying them back. So every FC owner could take advantage of that. But there's going to be very little space in-system for the week the discount is available.
It would be nice if there was some narrative twist (maybe linked to finishing early) that Brewer extends the offer to all vendors. Or the duration.
I don't care so much about the outfitting as I regularly switch (took off all the optionals to come out to Colonia just a few days ago, then added the Shipyard back on in Ratraii), so reductions there make no difference to me in the long run.
There could be a lot of unhappy people though if it's only 2 systems with the reduced outfitting - we will see.

Man, that scene was intense. The tic tac toe whizzing by on the screen, Ferris Bueller all stressed out....good stuff, that movie!
In all the fairness, Not worth the hassle was about Selling and rebuying the carrier and the services with the prospect of a lesser upkeep
For example, I will not resell my carriers since i have more than 30 billions in each of 2 carrier enabled accounts and for me it's not really worth the hassle to re-transfer my fleets and my modules... especially in EDO where i have to visit 20+ distinct sections to locate modules that are not at the current location
However, i will take the opportunity to get a carrier for my 3rd account at the discounted price of 3.5 billions (hopefully the CG will reach tier5), but i have little hope to purchase the full Outfitting at 800 millions instead of 1150 millions since it will be damn hard to get a carrier spot in that system

Would not expect any contact untill 21st... Then you would have a limited number of days to reply and then failure to reply in that time would result in the default name being issued on thursday the 28th when they go live with the default name line up...
