Everything is connected bar the top 'cheeks' and top glacis which sit on rails and lift away so you can see inside.Did you cheese the angles? Is it all connected?

Here are some pics of me taking these sections away

The side cheek sits on a rail that lines up with the lower hull section.

Here the top 'glacis' front panel comes away (which slots between the two sloped pillars near the two yellow rail pieces in the middle)
The rear upper wing comes away too, and sits (or will) on a sloped rail and clips onto the triangular upper section (which is fixed).
The lower front 'cheek' is held on with a single pin in the centre using multiple joints (as no part allows me to align that section on its own). This part is held in by a clip at the wings edge which (because of the angled plates) 'wedges' them together tightly so the seam is negligible.
All of this is possible thanks to using old 4 x 8 angled plates with newer angled plates and finding the right combo.
Well I'm the only Asp Scout owner who can have a cup of tea and walk about insideNow what's it look like without photoshop? We all know ship interiors is fake news.
Standard Lego is the goal.hm, I get the impression from looking at it, that you really want to do that in LEGO only and none of my ideas will satisfy you therefore.
Chapeau, how many hours are we looking at?Everything is connected bar the top 'cheeks' and top glacis which sit on rails and lift away so you can see inside.

About a year on or off, mainly as when I started I had nowhere near the Lego to finish it, and I had to really experiment hard to get it as perfect and as stud free as I could.Chapeau, how many hours are we looking at?
Its in full SHIP territory at about 40 studs tall, 90 long (so far- will be 110 ish later) and 110 wide.holy cow, how big is that thing?
Thanks, its...been a journeyIt still blows my mind mate, ever since I first saw your thread!
Haha, you successfully even recreated jagged lines in the wireframe model.About a year on or off, mainly as when I started I had nowhere near the Lego to finish it, and I had to really experiment hard to get it as perfect and as stud free as I could.
I mean, this is my first photo:

A brilliant bit of lego-ing - one of the bestThanks, its...been a journeyIts also my first Lego model in about 25 years. Other fun facts:
It contains x2 Millenium Falcons (not UCS ones but the Force Awakens playsets), x1 Tie Fighter, three Microfighters and a load of 80s Lego too.
It still has a full SRV bay behind the lower cockpit
It has two bunks
It will be about 5-7 K in parts
Its not strictly minifig scale- microfig scale yes. But Microscale look crap so I shrunk the shipTrue microscale would be 200 studs wide!
My home system, Asterope, has come under attack by the evil Thargoid menace! I am temporarily a refugee. Time to suit up and kick some alien butt. GLORY, TO MANKIND!!
