State of the Game

I'm sure he'd appreciate it, he must be a good sport, as he keeps coming back here spouting words of wisdom, or should that be bacony nonsense

keeps coming back? I've been here since page 4. pretty sure i have more posts than any other single person here. It is you (plural) that keeps coming back and spouting bacony nonsense. fried ham jibberjabber. If your bacon was real, then a sandwhich full of it should kill you. That's what real bacon sandwhiches would do.

We just say things more succinctly, and therefore require less words / posts

Zoom, that's the one, the colours look wrong from my memory, but it was a few years ago,
Remember dalek ice cream,? Without googling I seem to remember green and brown, and an odd flavour
Re: Zooms, the colours were purple, yellow and red. These days, all the major supermarkets do a rocket lolly which is red, orange and yellow (and all made by the same company for them under their own brand labels, as far as I can tell).

As for Dalek ice cream, have to be honest that one completely passed me by. I was much more a water ice fan and never paid much attention to the vagaries of novelty ice cream. Well apart from Funny Feet obviously.

We had/have these, but they've also taken the tip off somewhere along the line.

I'm sure I saw something like that at an Ann Summers party when I was giving my ex a lift.

see real bacon is cut from tenderloin - you guys there cut it from pork belly - that isn't bacon that's pork belly.

As a kid my favourite (apart from a mr whippy cone) was a plain mini-milk lolly or a strawberry mivvy if I was feeling adventurous, but Zig & Zag (named after the big breakfast / Irish puppets) was my favourite in the 90's.
Advertised as a colourful mix they turned up beige but were delicious.
