Ships Fuji Tea for Broo

I would not mind say two trips of 154ly each way to fetch the tea, but only 15 units in stock at a time means 4 trips. FDL owners doing this must hate the game by the time they are done. So pointless. I have BGS stuff to do I want my lasers engineered first....

Try getting Lavian brandy when Lave is in famine ... that's what I faced ...
I think I got the brandy in 2 or 3 trips.
Mine 500 tons of something in your career was the worst. I was useless at core mining at the time and hated laser mining. 360 tons extra I had to mine plus what was needed as the donation on top. At least I had the Anaconda by then which made it a bit faster to do.
It will be Kongaa Alre for Lori Jameson once my combat rank is up to Dangerous and then all engineers worth having are unlocked, including those in Colonia. Shame I forgot to pin Mel Brandon and the rank 4 Shield Cell bank blue print before I left Colonia.
Broo's got all his tea now and I melted a pirates shields on the trip here really fast with these 2 x large beam lasers before any engineering. I've always fought mostly with various engineered multi-canons up to now, but keep running out of ammo in medium/high conflict zones before they are complete.

Which FdL owner is doing this in his/her murderboat? That's what Pythons or other traders are for.

No go out there, get some tea and upgrade all your lazors  (y)

True but then I' m a Krait II fan so murder boat, trader and multi purpose ship all in one. Well, I have the Anaconda for trading and maybe a Cutter soon.
I'm loving the 2 X large efficient beam thermal vent laser I now have on the Krait II. Off to medium and high conflict zones today where I can now be confident of not running out of multi canon ammo before the zone is won. MCs are just for hull now.

This is the way.

FDL owners are usually using the FDL for combat, not for long range trucking
Use a ship that is more appropriate for the task, a DBX being a sensible choice - this one can do 61 ly with 32t of cargo

I've not tried an FDL yet - some day, and I suppose I could ship the huge hardpoint weapon to engineers on the Anaconda so I don't have to fly the FDL long distance. I do have a DBX for materials gathering and any missions / tasks that don't need combat or a large cargo hold. I use an Engineered FSD V1 switched between Krait II, DBX and Chieftain as needed and the DBX still gets 57.7ly with shield and some other bits. Krait Phantom explorer is over 70ly with strong shields for crash landings and 2 x SRV.

I used the Krait II to fetch the tea as that was the ship that needed the engineering attention. FSD V1 + size 5 Guardian FSD booster and about 36ly jump range - it's heavy with all the armour, shields and weapons.

:ROFLMAO: yes I did understand your point. I don't use ships like Vultures and FDLs at all yet as my play style always seems to involve travelling around a fair bit. Part of the attraction of the Chieftain - class 5 FSD so tolerable number of jumps to get places. The irony being, the first "fully engineered" ship I ever built was the Phantom with 70+ly jump range, so I could do a large number of jumps going to Sag A* - Colonia - and eventually back to the bubble.
Now an FDL in Colonia is perfect. The Colonia bubble only being about 80ly across means everything you want to go to is usually within 35-40ly.

I was an FDL owner when I unlocked that engineer :D - but I used a ship with a better jump range. I did use to go all the way to Maia in the FDL several times to upgrade my engine at Palin, back before we could pin a blueprint... (And the rolls were random.) - And before we had the guardian fsd booster. :D

Ah, those were really annoying times. :D

See I'll fly to Maia in a Chieftain with Engineered FSD V1. I admire your patience :)
I'm trying to get my second FSD booster right now, a size 4 this time. But cannot find one in stock at tech brokers within 70ly of Shinrarta Dez.

If you've already unlocked it I think you can just buy any size at ShinDez? You can buy as many as you want in whatever size once you unlock them.

You are right and I realised after collecting more Guardian materials (there is another forum thread on this). My consolation is, I now have the parts for Guardian Shield Reinforcements which I was meaning to get around to eventually 😀
