SRV flips over after running over tiny debris from destroyed meteorites

For the first time ever my SRV flipped over on flat ground at a very slow speed. It happened when I ran over a tiny piece of debris from a meteorite that I just salvaged.
This has almost happened on many occasions, but this is the first time that I ever flipped it over, and I drive on some very rugged terrain.
There must be some bug where the SRV thinks that the object is much bigger than it actually is.
Has anyone else experienced this? Should I report it?

sounds like they fixed or added something which just so happened to simultaneously break something
which unfortunately according to most released patches seems to be the norm ( eg station pop in etc)
yea submit to the bug reporting forum and when fixed you will probably find your headlights wont work lol
( good job my other half thinks like an SRV or at least pretends she does bless her ;) )

I'm sorry to say the future is insurance claims so as most planets don't have a breathable atmosphere we had to look at other ways to get those claims in, to this end we gave SRV's teenager AI's so anything happens they flip and pitch a fit 😂

Ended up on my back twice yesterday. Never happened before so didnt know what to do. after a few chosen words and the SRV thrusters I was able to get it upright again. But it took some doing. Whats normal in this type of situation?.

It's happened to me 3 or 4 times but several hours ago is the first time I couldn't right myself no matter what I tried. I had to leave and re-enter the game so I wouldn't lose one of my SRV's (I'm on a road trip). No stations around to replace it.

If you haven’t already, could you please add a Confirmation to the current report?

The previous bug reports expired due to lack of contributions and this current one only requires one or two more to be safe from expiring.

That's been around for years, I remember bouncing of tiny leftover rocks way back when horizons first came out, not being flipped over but just like running into a huge boulder, I suspect it's a hit box thing, the hit box doesn't change when the meteorite is shot whereas it should vanish altogether, so it's like running into a small boulder the size of a large boulder.

The extra confirmations have tipped the issue report over the line - it can now be voted for 👍

Thank you to everyone who took the time to add to the report 👏

I was at a Thargoid structure and farming meta-alloys and noticed this with some of the regular mats farmed from the immature pods. My SRV was literally catapulted high above the structure when I ran over a sulfur mat. I put all power to engines and carefully thrusted down to a soft landing. It was repeatable, but not in a predictable way. It seemed to be related to the SRV speed (faster yielding more dramatic popping).
