If you find an existing constelation in the game, yes, most of the famous constelations are in the game (i.e. the stars are in the right places.)
But I suppose your question means you've found something unusual.

I did a little research and did it with imgur

Hah. Interesting.
I honestly can't say if it's intentional. It does resemble the Eagle, though. :)
Maybe if you inspect the galaxy map to see how the stars are put together (they do look like they're of the same type and at the same distance) it could tell you something about whether they were clustered like that on purpose.
..and then you have to go visit them of course! ;)

It was strange because i just bought the imperial Eagle for the first time and took it for a ride on a planet in the same system. And then i saw it.

.... then yes that would probably be just a coincidence.
It was mainly your second image that threw me. I can't see what that has to do with the constellation.
