there is nothing as convincing as a real time video showing off the excitement of high speed action in super cruise to Hutton Orbital
that's gameplay they can't find easily in any other games. It's not impossible though, there is still the watching paint dry simulator on steam.
So I can own stations?......yes
So I can move around my ships interior?.....yes
And it's out on consoles....yes
And there's some sort of faction power base I can join that adds an in depth element to my game...

That would be Scanlon. I played that role in an amateur production for Green Door Theater in the very late 80's very early 90s when I was stationed in Germany.
("Green Door Theater" was named as such due to the rec center having interior metal doors that were all painted "Vibrant Green")

I tried twice, both are massive star wars/sci-fi fans but they just couldn't get into it
tbh i dont really blame them, credits are too easy, missions are samey, engineering is pointless and there's nothing new
i dont really know why it has the pull on me that it does, just something about flying around in that ship doing bits n bobs, i even have an alt account in a sub 12lt jump range sidewinder half way between colonia and sag a, literally just jumping, honking and scannng, every system is virgin and i still pee my pants a little when i stumble across an ELW

1:1 scale local galaxy with real existing known stars, just the right amount of SciFi and backstory and a suite of tools to explore/trade/fight in it however YOU want to play.
