Frontier, let us use Nublar 2015 as Nublar 1993!!! JW's futuristic entry does not allow JP!

I agree with many of the complaints, but let's try to remember that there are priorities when making a game that has a pretty strict deadline set by the company who hired the devs to make it. There was no way Frontier could do 100% of the millions of demands we've made of them over the last four years along with actually making the game. Now that it's released, they have the time to work on the nitty-gritty details and feedback, and those will take time, patience is a virtue. A sixth Chaos Theory mode and its map along with more Campaign missions and maps will be coming when Dominion drops, and Frontier will very likely make some/many of the Campaign maps available in Sandbox down the line like they did in the first game (the Pennsylvania and Yosemite maps especially). So let's remain calm and see how the wind blows.

I just want to add, having worked in the industry years ago, video game development is not a democracy: as a business it behooves them to respond to market demands, but the developer is also an artist with their own vision. They are not in your head trying to make your dreams come true and failing; they're manifesting their own vision. If they hear an idea that they agree works better they might incorporate that in the future, but there's a limit. You can make special requests of the chef and most oblige, but no chef is obligated to change his menu for you.

they're manifesting their own vision
I highly doubt the majority of feedback here is incompatible with their vision. Extremely unlikely.

And except some crazy suggestions here like "remove the scientists" most others would be perfectly feasible, IF THERE IS A WILL. What's the point of having a forum with a whole suggestions subsection if the idea is to ignore them altogether?

The funny thing is that in JWE1 there was no such problem reported in this post. And as I said before: Now the game has been released. Why didn't someone inside Frontier think through these details that we're complaining about and thinking about constructively improving BEFORE releasing the game? I restate my words: It was 3 - 4 years of the entire community asking for improvements. Some were delivered yes, but a lot of things weren't, as if they hadn't even heard.

Frontier has received a billion askings for larger maps and park accessories. The game received more accessories, but lost some of JWE1 and in my opinion received few. The maps remain pretty much the same, with those mountain ranges and mountains getting in the way.

What would be the problem with making MORE gigantic open maps? Haven't had time to think about it for 3 years? Why not allow us to play Jurassic Park on Isla Nublar 2015 map? We can not? do we have to accept that JW monorail in a Sandbox? It's a pertinent question, it's a valid question.

Look, I'm also here wasting my time trying to get my opinion out there to help in this game. I see a lot of potential in this game and I want it to improve. I trust that, otherwise I wouldn't be here. But I have to be honest: this silence from Frontier has always been very disappointing, and at times I feel like I'm just wasting my time.

The players' desires are many, but in four years I think they should have realized that people just want to build their parks on a large and open land, with various types of fences, accessories, garbage cans.. and.... creatures that look alive! Instead, Frontier set out to make a Staff Simulator.
They really went kinda overboard with the management aspects in this game. It's like they don't understand that, unlike most management games, the main appeal of JWE is the dinosaurs themselves. People just wanna have a park full of cool dino's with dynamic behaviors, they don't want to have to micromanage everything.
There's a fine line between not enough management and too much management, and Frontier went a bit too far past that line.
I particularly just want a fully functional and editable sandbox. I think we are entitled to ask always for a better game.

Jwe1 had a ton of issues, to be fair, and some of them were addressed.

I agree with that. It is true. I think they will improve this game, but there are things here that could have been "fixed" since its release. In my opinion, the monorail...

That's why I'm here asking for an improvement on this :D

There are things that should have never made it jnto the game like the female raptor with quills or the monorail fixed entrance at nublar or the complete lack of classic skins compared to the first game, these are all things frontier knows about from years of feedback, so why they even made it into this game is puzzling.

I don't worry too much about skins as this is something I know they will re-insert into the game. Other things maybe are thinking about dropping in DLCs. But really, the lack of a better sandbox, among other errors already mentioned in this post all seem like an oversight. Is weird.

As someone said on reddit: For every two steps forward, one step back.

Post with almost 40 thread responses and Jens Erik and dev's won't say anything. I don't even know if the developers actually read our GAME IMPROVEMENT comments, to point out what's wrong and fix it.

More like three steps back. We can't even use aviaries or Lagoons in the JP era!

I could have been ok with the other drawbacks, but that one has made the game just broken. I've only played for maybe one hour total since launch because now I really don't care to much to play it.

What 100 people worked on Jwe ? Covid....... If he would answer everything poor soul lol. They collect data if 70% want something and it is technically possible it will get in. But its a Product that belongs to Universal, never forget that. We dont know how much creative freedom they have. I guarantee they are reading(hello there silent data gatherer😊).

Oh and add Campaign Maps to Sandbox. Rebalance MVUs let them work more automated like rangers, rebalance money flow its nice that you have to really watch but you overdid it proof for that is Chaos Theory JW 1 bad Tornado and you have to restart, you cant recover. I now know how to 5 Star it but its not fun.

More Sandbox Options, Fix HDR, some small bugs.

Dont charge us with the obviously cut Dominion Delayed Campaign!! As Dlc later on that would be insanely scummy and my personal last cent you got from me. I know its not the devs decision but yea i fear that in todays industry. Its not our or your fault that the movie got delayed. In a perfect world you could have said, we had to cut the campaign because the movie got delayed and Universal wants no spoilers so we reduced the price to 39,99 for the base game and when the movie hits give us the rest for extra 20 bucks. But last quarter yea i know €€€€€€€€.........😁👀👀👀👀

Edit: For gods sake let us hatch more skin variations at once. Complete interface hidding while watching dinos :) underwater scenery customisation like aviaries

The 2015 map is MUCH MORE OPEN, it's bigger and nicer. We want to build Jurassic Park parks (1993) here, but THIS DETAIL gets in the way a little: The map entry is from the JW monorail (2015). Can you give us the ability to delete this entry in Sandbox please? I've seen other people complain about the same thing on reddit.
Hi Camargo! The map is Nublar 2015, so it's mean to be the same map as Jurassic World. That's why the Monorail is included as part of the map.

Hi Albur! I do my best to read and respond to as much as I can, but I'm not always able to get through everything. Here I am, and I've seen and read through the entire thread.

I've forwarded the feedback to the developers, but I can't guarantee that the Jurassic World monorail entrance will be removed from the Nublar 2015 map.

I see. I mean, ok, but even so, that monoral could just have been made as a toggleable placeable.

Please read everything we say about this. If the 1993 map were as big as 2015 I wouldn't be complaining. What we are asking for is that this monorail be removed if the player wants to play Jurassic Park on that map. It should be highly editable for whatever the player wants to do. Sandbox should be able to provide this.

That could also be an acceptable solution, to improve the 1993 map - even I still think the choice of monorail entrance would be nice.
