SALVATION’S ALLIES TRIUMPH IN T TAURI SYSTEM

18 NOV 3307
Pilots’ Federation ALERT
Taurus Mining Ventures has defeated a rogue Aegis Defense force and gained control of the megaship Musashi.
The conflict was initiated by Admiral Aden Tanner, chief military liaison with Aegis. He was attempting to gain access to Hind Mine asteroid base, in search of evidence that Salvation’s anti-xeno weapon was deliberately designed to provoke the Thargoids.
Patience Middleton, a spokesperson for Taurus Mining Ventures, made this announcement:
“This was an illegal and unnecessary conflict, brought about by Admiral Tanner’s misguided obsession. We will continue working with Salvation to eliminate the Thargoid threat.”
“Our defence was only possible thanks to our courageous supporters, for whom rewards are available at Hind Mine. We will also honour agreements that the Aegis Defense force made with independent pilots, who can collect their promised payments from the Musashi.”
Taurus Mining Ventures later confirmed that all members of the Musashi’s original crew will be allowed to leave the megaship unharmed. Admiral Tanner and other key personnel are in temporary custody. Aegis has arranged for them to be transferred to its internal security teams.

DREDGER DEADLOCK INSPIRES COMPETING CAMPAIGNS

18 NOV 3307
Pilots’ Federation ALERT
The HIP 43670 system is hosting two competing delivery initiatives, each of which aims to benefit the Scriveners Clan.
Orion University has partnered with Independent HIP 43670 Labour, which is requesting deliveries of anomalous bulk scan data, unusual encrypted files and unidentified scan archives to Shaara Gateway in HIP 43670.
The university’s campaign was explained by Vice Chancellor Leland Pettigrew:
“Although Dredger J-403 is legally our property, what we value most is the Scriveners Clan’s dedication to deep-space research. To convince them of our noble intentions, we are donating scientific data and samples to their Knowledge Core. Our proposal is that they permit us to accompany them on their journey and share in any future discoveries.”
An alternative campaign is also taking place in the HIP 43670 system. Supporters of the Scriveners Clan are being asked to gather emergency power cells, power converters and power transfer buses and deliver them to the Alliance of HIP 42371 at Oramus Terminal. A spokesperson told the media:
“These supplies are needed to perform vital repairs to the dredger. Furthermore, if the power systems are sufficiently updated, they can bypass the ancient components affected by Orion University’s override codes and continue travelling independently.”
Although there remains no response from the Scriveners Clan, the dredger is now actively monitoring all local and interstellar transmissions. This is a new development for the isolated community, and suggests they are aware of these campaigns.

Im out, so some one else can have my top 10% space not doing the relogs required way to soon after the last data CG...
Cargo runs for me..

My epic alt is very miffed in Colonia - and he's the only one that could use several billions. Not sure i will suicide him back.
I was planning to keep him there till they fix the EDO blueprints pins... oh well...

Phase 3 will bring the 3A, 4A, 6A FSD V1 to tech brokers, those will be able to take experimentals.
The Modules from the Phase 2 will remain as is, not able to take experimentals.
6000 snowflakes melt over the forums

😂 😂
That would actually be an outcome I could live with.

Cargo CG is first true long distance FC CG since they were added will be interesting...
Its gonna be painful for me, smaller loads since i need a scoop and the nearest commodity sources are like 5-6 jumps away.

Feelin very very very exposed out in open on this long run to Oramus.

And i'm on the board...a whole 12 tons!

You should be able to unload FC in time in system/ nearby, they will need time to be loaded first...
Expect reddit to be flooded with load requests soon. then to unload after that..

...and the range the delivery station is at effectively nukes carriers as an option. No-one'd get parked nearby to be able to offload; getting a slot near the primary star's no good as you'd have a supercruise acceleration disadvantage,

Dusted off ye olde Enclave repairs Cutter build - should do most supply stations in a 5-jump round trip. That'll do nicely.
Have to say, though, that this is the CG where it's felt the most like there's a heavy thumb on the scales. And this is the wrong side of the scales to be on. 😑

Orion are also responsible for holding the Scriv's hostage until they accept their "offer", so...

I wouldn't mind if it was permanent custody....

So a slow grind CG, or one that can completed in 5 minutes using Carriers, and no shinies to bribe people either way....

Flossy is a good person (i saw the crap given to her in the predictions thread) and not to falt on combat but i understand her wanting to not partake she is really good ppl be nice x....that said the current goal is is nonsense... within 1 hour all the carriers showed up bulk dropping.. negating any CMDR genuinely trading for the CG as a trucker or just a player.

Or... you could actually look at the current progress for this CG, and realise that you are very much mistaken.

I'm in the top 25%, with a grand total of 2560 tons. I own an FC, but there's no way I could be bothered to use it for this - I'm just using my Cutter.

I ferried a few loads to a couple of FC's that were near high-supply stations (and they were buying at a reasonable rate, so I made a profit), then hauled one load over to the CG station myself, and unloaded three more from nearby FCs. In general, I think everyone delivering for the Scriveners in this CG is doing so for story reasons - nobody's making big money here.

Why is it that trade CGs with supply considerations are always considered "broken", "biased" or whatnot. Trade CGs where the goods are readily available anywhere are so bland, and totally indistinct from standard A->B shipping outside of a CG... more trade CGs need challenges to overcome like this.

Anything more complicated that A->B->A->B for 6 days seems to get lots of negative press. Then again in this case we have 'finished' the EPC supply, and the others don't look great - whereas those grinding Jameson for the data have no such issues (well, apart from the mindlessness of it, but that doesn't seem a problem for some).

I do wonder if the data grinders will continue when they hit T1 and see what the pay-outs are, as they won't be getting extra tiers this week 🤔

It's a real shame stolen goods can't be accepted for these cgs, second- sourcing from delivery missions would be kinda fun.

Alternately, i wonder if the source system missions offer these as cargo rewards? Those rewards ignore market supply conditions... as long as it's a supply item, even if it has zero supply it'll be a potential reward.

Not going to keep pace with the reloggers. Though at the moment inara has cargo ahead...

Becuase it's a competitive CG against another CG without the same supply restraints. Even if more players support it, if the supplies run out, the other side wins, and there is nothing players can do about it. That's bad game design.
