I'm going full cylon. just without all that religious baggage. The Void has shown the way.
the unknown artifacts were et phones. we did phone home (calling the thargoids to us). but without the lost thargoid child ( unknown to the players at the time, the child was actually captured and experimented on to facilitate humans flying thargoid tech). so now the thargoids continue to search, sometimes violently, since they now suspect foul play.

The thing that keeps going through my head lately is just that, what if we got it all wrong?
So then, Sanitation's super-weapon is a Guardian/Human/Thargoid* hybrid ship flown by a Thargoid/Human/Guardian* hybrid amalgamtion or just an augmented Human or a controlled Thargoid or a Guardian AI?
* - In some combination, not necessarily the ones shown

i don't think it is a thargoid hybrid ship. an anti tharg weapon doesn't seem like something you would come up with from figuring out how to fly a thargoid ship.
mayhaps guardian sentinel tech.
what makes you think i wouldn't continue doing exactly what I'm doing now after? only without the need for sleep.
