Bernie Drummond RIP

I know there's a good amount of those who grew up during the 8bit era so I thought I'd post this here for those who haven't heard, but Bernie Drummond, artist for games such as Head Over Heels, Batman & Matchday II for the Spectrum, Amstrad & C64 passed away recently.

I spent many a good hour playing Head Over Heels & Batman back in the day thanks to both Jon Ritman & Bernie Drummond. o7

There are quite few iconic games on the Speccy, but if I was asked to name what the iconic isometric games were, two that would immediately spring to mind would be Batman and Head Over Heels.

Those two are up there with Knight Lore & Alien 8 for sure. For gameplay I would say Head Over Heels is probably the best isometric game to come out for the 8bits. Really well done and the idea of having two characters combine the way they did was a stroke of genius too.
