Collective noun for players

Hello everyone,

What should a group of Elite players be called?

Elitists?
Eliters?
Children of 1984?
The Carebear and Griefer Hokey Cokey Club?

Cheers, Phos.

Dangerous Commanders, Spacefaring Elitists, Followers of Dee Bobe and Faithful of the Prophecy, Involveds in the Second Coming of the Rotating Rectangle, The Venerable, The Oddly Wise, The Decennial Patient and Most Dedicated Preference Editors of the Procedural Galaxy.

I use "commander" for the character. So in character, "commanders" is the best name.

Outside of the game, I would certainly never call myself a "commander". So we might need another word for the player.

Eliteer??

Or just keep it simple and call it an "Elite Player".

Apart from all that, I fully support Cmdr Kremmen's hilarious proposal above.

Not strictly correct, although just PF wouldn't fit the CIA shirt idea :)

After seeing that T-shirt, I feel that there needs to be some more clothing options available from the Elite Store.

I, for one, would find it most inspiring if Our Glorious Leader were to be seen striding about the office in his best Commander regalia in his next TV appearance. I can't see it being at all comical.

I figure such a get-up would comprise:

1 Beret like "Citizen" (ha ha) Smith - black would be best, but given that orange is apparently the new black, and there's a lot of that about in this game, maybe orange would be better? I dunno.
1 Camo Jumper - leather elbow patches, epaulettes, perhaps an OBE medal on the chest
1 Pair of Combat Pantaloons (black)
1 Pair of DMs (black)
1 Pair of Viper shades (chrome frames, of course)

Of course, a prerequisite for wearing any of that would be the growth of a proper "Nigel" moustache, so there's not much time before the big party - get on it Dave!
