Coexistence of some sauropods

Just because they lived during the same time/era, doesn't mean that they would be all fine with each other. Seeing as they are rivals in terms of food, it makes totally sense that they have some territorial needs

I agree that there might be some food rivality there. However, this is also why the big sauropods should have no problem with Nigersaurus or Amargasaurus, since they have a different niche.
Yes, rivalry between sauropods is quite likely, my point is that they should not lose ALL comfort (red threshold) and break the fence because there is another sauropod of a different species. But it is certainly possible that these sauropods had a rivalry, but for the sake of functioning of an ecosystem, some herbivorous species may not like each other, but may tolerate each other's presence. Elephants don't like rhinos, you can see videos of fights between them on youtube. They live in the same habitat, (not exactly the same diet, but both can eat bushes) but they can EVENTUALLY fight, but it doesn't mean that they can't live in the same territory

It would be nice if the territory system was based on dinosaurs coexisting in reality, but that doesn't seem to be a factor at all. Edmontosaurus likes living with Archaeornithomimus specifically, and they lived 20 million years apart and on separate continents.

It would be nice if the Morrison Formation sauropods could coexist. I know it was said above that there is competition for food amongst the sauropods, but that's not true, at least not uniformly. Brachiosaurus, Apatosaurus, and Diplodocus don't eat the same things in the game, for example. So it's not really clear why they don't like each other.

Lastly, we already have examples of dinosaurs which competed with one another coexisting- for example Allosaurus likes being in an enclosure with Ceratosaurus. We know that they coexisted but also competed for food. So it's not really clear why Allosaurus and Ceratosaurus can coexist but Diplodocus and Brachiosaurus can't.

Ceratosaurus and Allosaurus can coexist in the same enclosure? That sounds like putting lions and hyenas in the same enclosure.

Brachiosaurus, Diplodocus, Apatosaurus and Camarasaurus lived at the same time and in the same region, so it would be nice if these dinosaurs could cohabit in the game without territory problems
I was just about to post the same thing. Additionally the same should be applied to Cerotpsids and Stegosaurids. This was a feature in the first game and I was surprised it wasn't Included in this.

Actually, I don't think they would be rivals, as they ate different diets, from different parts of the trees/other foliage.

It's really weird that the docile sauropods can't coexist, but certain predators can. Like someone already said in the post, you will never put lions and hyenas in the same enclosure, just because they are from the same region/timeline.

I am totally fine with sauropods coexisting btw.
