New PC and files that I need to move

Hello,
I have recently got a new PC and have been having a look online on which files I should copy over for Elite Dangerous.
I have downloaded the launcher (I don't use Steam or Epic for Elite Dangerous) but have not launched the game yet on my new PC.
Should i just copy over the whole 'Elite Dangerous' folder from %LocalAppData%\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous or just specific files?
Also %userprofile%\Saved Games\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\ (I have 496 files in this folder)
I obviously want to keep my hotas keybindings and visited stars data etc.
I am still using the same graphics card I had in my old PC.
Is there anything else I should copy over and should I copy everything before I launch the game or after?
Thanks for any help!

if your playing from the frontier launcher then you can simply copy over the ED install folders then you should be good to go

iirc first time you launch it should download and install any missing pre-requisits however you may need to verify the game install - Options > verify game files

once first run close ED then copy the contents of those Elite dangers folders over - however you may find the game may break if you copy the \Elite Dangerous\Options\ graphics and audio folders

you also need to remove the GpuWorkTable.xml (rename to remove) file from ED:O and ED:H

You'll want to back up your bindings, journals, and visited stars cache

Journals are here:
C:\Users\[YOURUSERNAME]\Saved Games\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous

Bindings are here:
C:\Users\[YOURUSERNAME]\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings

Visited Stars are here:
C:\Users\[YOURUSERNAME]\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\[SOME_NUMBERED_FOLDER]

Thanks everyone for your help - so basically I need to copy over the Journals, Bindings and Visited Stars and I won't have lost out on any of my previous 100's of hours in this game!?

You can also copy the program files over and with a little bit of juggling both Steam and Epic will find the files and not have to redownload them. The process for doing that differs slightly between the two, but there are guides online that will take you through how to do it.

Its been a while since I've done it, but I think that you have to start the installation, then pause it allowing you to copy the files into the correct location, then restart the installation and it will go through abd verify all of the files and download any that are missing. Make sure that your install is up to date before you copy the files or it can mess things up.

Thanks Bravo17 but I don't use Steam or Epic for Elite - I bought it from the Frontier store so just use the Frontier launcher.
I would have thought that enough people need to do this and there should be some kind of official Frontier statement explaining what to do when you move to a new PC to ensure all your valid data is copied over.
Is there? I haven't managed to find one!

I don't use steam I like yourself bought from FD direct.
The directories Codger described are the same locations you should backup an transfer over
