Update 9 is going to be interesting, as now we are considered 'off topic' I'll have to post real threads about the actual 'State Of the Game' over in the 'DD' forum, rather than in our fun post.

Let's hope update 9 delivers a bit more on the performance front.

Sod it who cares, I'm in danger of turning into a pathetic forumite arguing the toss about 'broken promises, blah blah blah'

the movement of the thread doesn't change the url. Wouldn't make much sense to not have this thread in it's own tab while wandering the forum in another.

but being in off topic makes it far less interesting. they didn't lock it...but being put in off topic is worse.

After thinking about it for hours (well 5 mins, that's long enough surely). Ive decided to quit ED, due to the lack of respect it shows us 'genuine' players, it even has the temerity of moving our thread to 'off topic'.

I may be making several videos over the next year or two (or until the servers shut down), explaining why I've left, and why I will never come back (unless I can see more money in it).

kinda think we should create an update 9 thread where we try and see how many posts we can get to before update 10 and to make sure it stays on topic, every single post has to mention update 9 in some direct or described convoluted roundabout way.

but that would require a level of enthusiasm for the forum game I can't quite muster at the moment.
