Carrier owners need to have their own landing pad, preferably on the underside of the carrier

I mean, you just bought and paid for a giant flying space city, in space, employing all those people, and you can't have your own parking spot? I mean, you open a shop in a mall and you can get your name on a space out front. Make owning a carrier a special experience. They started out that way with all the contact from Brewer Manufacturing, but after that the special all goes away. They don't even have any different scripts to acknowledge you as the owner.

Bring the special back.

Oh, and while you're at it, it should also activate automatically once you get to that 7.5 km boundary.

Ahhh, okay, I got it.... You just don't like the carriers and their upkeep. Now I understand.

Ahh, that's why my carrier has done 100 of thousands of light years and currently earns way more than it costs in upkeep and currently has enough funds in it for over a years worth of upkeep even if I never did a thing with it.

Maybe you need to cut down on the passive/aggressive, "I know what you think" rubbish, because you don't know and you never will.

Why would not make main concourse room of FC is a dedicated landing pad for FC owner? It would be fun landing and see other pilots crossing the concourse in mag boots, watching your ship landing.

I want to reserve one pad for the "Employee of the month"!

And have it perpetually empty until they learn to transfer tritium!

Jokes aside, not really bothered about a special landing pad, however I would appreciate if they recognised me when I come back!

Yes this! I second adding personalised messages to your own fleet carrier! or at least change the "Welcome command to this carrier" to "welcome command to your carrier"!

If it's two things carriers should have, they are a personalized greeting for the owner, and a bridge view when jumping..

Something I've considered but never actually had to deal with is having all pads occupied & not being able to dock at my own Carrier. A tick box in the carrier management to always reserve pad 1 for the carrier owner's personal use should be fairly easy to add, compared to requesting modifications to the in-game asset itself.

That way a DSSA or similar carrier that is primarily for the use of others need not reserve a pad, but those with lots of use including the owner could choose to tick the box.

Can't say I'm bothered at all by special treatment that isn't actually useful, but guaranteeing that I can always dock would be useful.

Does it really matter?

Like, you have your own giant space dreadnaught.

Is that not already enough of a "Look at me bro!" flag to wave?
