6900 XT is about 50% faster than 2080 Super in EDO in surface CZ, and probably twice as fast in space.
Despite Oculus not recognising the card I was able to play several VR games very smoothly (bar FO4VR, but that had issues previously), EDO is VR was fine at 1.25 but not best happy at 1.5 or 2... I'll check Horizons out sooner or later.

Its a great little card, and plays Horizons really well. EDO however makes it cry randomly Sometimes I get a steady 30fps and other times.....not so much....

MSRP was 770 quid but its going for 1200 and higher.

Thats the other issue- this is in an HP Z420 ex workstation. So while I think I have a 600W PS I have to be careful with the juice, as well as finding space inside

The place I saw it (my usual reputable h/w site) it was north of 1400 ... in comparison 770 seems reasonable - but still more than I have ever paid for a gfx card. Back in my day ....

Like I said before, Darty in France was quoting me all sorts of crazy prices. A RTX 3090 would cost more than my car

Im getting by with a 1660 and I can't justify spending a grand or more on a gpu.

Here's hoping my RX 580 doesn't give in any time soon... no way I can afford a new graphics card right now. I managed to use a crappy low end budget HD 6670 for six years and eventually killed it playing GTA 5, I'm sure I'll be fine.
