Not ingame atm but are we looking at around 500,000t per CG to complete them?

Last weeks rares CG only hit 1.2 million and that was with increased allocations due to boom states.

I'm personally hoping to help Ram Tah, even though it might mean sacrificing the 3 listed systems to the Goids.

The worry here is the community all pulls in a different direction and none of the CG's complete.
ATM we don't know how much Ram Tah wants but I figure we've a day or two to decide which weapon(s) we want. Til then it's trying to stay awake loading the carrier...

Edit: and enduring all the Orange Sidewinders...😕

Am I missing something? I'm parked on Bright Sentinel and there is no discernible way to sign up for the CG. The Mission Board is greyed out, even after restarting the game...

FYI, occasionally there will be none of the "Classified Experimental Equipment" available for purchase in the market. A relog fixes it.

Edit: NVM...relog doesn't fix. Have to wait till the market refresh every 10 minutes. Yeah, this CG is destined to fail.
It is a Rare Good, so as long as you have the initial allocation in your hold, no more will appear. Once your hold has been emptied a further 20 will be available to buy. :)

If you are in Odyssey, there is a bug that sometimes causes the CG part of the Mission Board to be greyed out. Relogging or at worst completely restarting the game usually cures it. :)

Yes, I posted it myself just over 4 hours ago - OK not in the usual excellent format Kietrax usually produces but it's my first attempt and was a bit rushed before getting myself onto Hutton Radio.....
Carriers are loading at about 100tonnes/HR and it all has to be done by the owner.
It's a bit of a slog.

Hold was empty. It was stock running out and needing to wait 10 minutes for the allocation to refresh. I managed to get my carrier parked .41 unobstructed ls away so it only took a few minutes for the round trip and then I'd have to wait until the megaship decided I could buy my allocation again. Super annoying.
 
They really need to increase the allocation quota. We're 20.5 hours in (out of 5 days total) and the most completed CG of the bunch is like 3.62% done. Even with a FC it's a painful slog.

Not a good idea to do a rare good CGs right after one ended imo.

Players tend to get burned out.

Unless that's the plan by Fdev to ensure that this CG fails.

Not to mention that the 10 minute timer for rare goods are a thing now when previously it didn't exist.

The current totals won't tell you much until the FCs switch to delivery Sunday/Monday.
 
So assuming players but rares 24/7 for the entire week, they can haul 20,160 rares each. With a total requirement of 1.5m, that would take 74 players. Of course, more rationally assuming maybe an average of 4 hours of participation on average, a more reasonable estimate is 3,645 participants.

There has always been a 10-minute timer for rare goods since the very beginning of ED. There was a bug which I just found out about during the last CG, which disabled the timer. As this was grossly unfair and made a mockery of being 'rare goods', it was reported and fixed within about half a day. The 10-minute timer is back to stay.

Thanks Flossy, but not even completely restarting the launcher + game helped.
@GraphiteGB's workaround helped though.
I was sitting in Maia on Bright Sentinel a bit dumbfounded, not sure what I did wrong :LOL:


By the way, I have had several problems dropping in on the Megaships, I was in the correct range but dropped 900k out.
Anyone else experiencing this? Both at Bright Sentinel and Heart of Taurus 🤷‍♂️
