New JWE2 Attractions

New attractions for Jurassic World: Evolution 2.

As seen in storyboards and the final cut of the 2015 film
  • T. rex Kingdom
  • Gentle Giants Petting Zoo
  • Gallimimus Valley
  • Triceratops Territory - Home to the park's Triceratops.
  • Cretaceous Cruise - This attraction will allow guests to paddle their own kayak and float down the river, taking a look at the dinosaurs.
  • Treetop Grazers - It consisted of an elevated platform where visitors could feed Brachiosaurus and possibly other sauropods.
  • Jurassic World Lagoon - a lagoon in Isla Nublar created to house Jurassic World's Mosasaurus.
  • Plesiosaur Pond - a large pool like the Jurassic World Lagoon inhabited by Plesiosaurus and several unidentified species of ichthyosaurs (if possible). Visitors to Jurassic World would be able to visit the attraction by boarding a submarine attached to a monorail.
  • Gondola Lift - a ride where you go in a Gondola over a mountain.
  • Botanical Gardens - a tourist attraction containing nearly 2,000 different kinds of Jurassic flora.
  • Aquatic Park - the water park area. It contains 3.5 million gallons of water and has over 21 slides.
The Aquatic Park consists of:
  • Panthalassa Wading Pool: Named after the prehistoric Panthalassa Ocean.
  • Double Helix waterslide: 3-story water slide in the shape of a DNA strand.
  • Dimorphodon Plunge Slide: speed 90 km/h.
  • Tethys Lazy River: speed 3 km/h.
  • Belly of the Mosasaur, to escape the Isla Nublar sun.
  • Cretaceous Cabanas, multiple cabanas.

Well, Trex Kingdom, Triceratops Territory, Gallimimus Valley, Botanical Gardens, Jurassic World Lagoon, and Plesiosaur Pond arent so much Attractions as enclosures that we can make given the game's tools, although Trex Kingdom will need the Log viewing attraction in order for it to work right

With the way the Aquatic lagoons are created currently, it will be impossible to accuratly recreate the JW Mosa lagoon.

I have a map accurate JW build that's as close to movie accurate as the 1st game allows. Just needed viewing stands, shark feeder, and of course a Mosa to be perfect.

Why Frontier decided to go the rout they did for the Aquatics is a very big missed opportunity.

Yes huge I really wish you could choose to sink the lagoon on the ground if you did recreate JW in evo 2 it would be weird to have a giant wall dripping water on Main Street

The Lagoons need the Option to build them directly on the shellow water of our enclosures without a fence !
The original Movie Lagoon of JW1 is build this way ! It has an optional fence in some shellow water areas in front of the Hotel!
Today it is possible to build monorail path in the Lagoons and the marine reptiles swim and dive perfektly without colliding with the Pillars !

So i think it should be possible to give us rocks and seaweed to make the Lagoons more interessting. For Sandbox it would be great if Lagoons could have the option to have a natural rocky boarder in some parts of the Lagoon. For more interaction between Marine Reptiles and Dinosaurs it would be great if this rocky Lagoon borders could in an update be build directly to the shellow water of the Maps. Dinosaur that come to drink could be attact by some of the bigger Marine Reptiles ( like Nilcrocs catching wildebeests) , while Some of the smaler like Ichtyosaurus and Plesiosaurus could be catched from spinosauroids like Spinosaurus , Suchomimus or Baryonyx ( Like bears catching salmon).
A Riverride Attraktion with boats like in "Jurassic World The Ride" would give us the option to build path on the shellow water and in the Lagoons. Marine Reptiles could then destroy Tourboats and be an danger for our tourists, if the Marine Reptiles are not comfortable with their Lagoons.

I think this is the best idea I've seen in a while. I love this.
combine this with the ability to link up fences with the border of lagoons and you'd get something that could pave the way for semi-aquatic animals in the future.

Yes... that´s the idea ;)(y)! We have already Spinosauroids which could get an swimming animation for the Lagoons in future updates.
And i can imagine Nothosaurus (up to 4,5m in length) , Deinosuchus (10m in length) and Sarcosuchus (12m in length) would be perfect semi-aquatic predators for this enclosures.

I don't think its likely we'll see swimming spinosaurids. But semi aquatic crocs would be awesome. Elosuchus would be nice too, since it's from the same time and place as Spinosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus.

Sarcosuchus lived also in the same time and place as Spinosaurus. Spinosaurus had even the big riverscene in JP3, where it was swimming and diving ;) !

It did not. Sarcosuchus is earlier and is not found in the same area as Spinosaurus. Those fossils are misidentified Elosuchus, which is a close relative of Sarcosuchus.
Spinosaurus is from Egypt and Morocco, probably also Algeria and Tunisia. Sarcosuchus is found in Niger in earlier rocks.

Trex kingdom should be more like the amphitheater from San Diego. Besides the log viewing gallery, it needs the arch entrance.
