Seriously! In JWE 1 we only got the JP3 ones with a skin that resembled the 1997 variants. In JWE2 we only got the 2001 pteranodons but they labeled them as the 1997 variants. What is it with Frontier and their odd relationship with the '97 pteranodons? We have seen several acknowledgements of their existence by Frontier and they are aware the fans want them but they never actually give that to the fans.

It's the JP3 2001 Pteranodon. It is not the Lost World Pteranodon. Frontier made a mistake. It's funny cause BestInSlot pointed out that the skin pattern displayed in the hatchery for the JP3 Pteranodon actually shows colors that would have been on the Lost World Pteranodon.

They've done a good job with a lot of what they've done, but moments like this...it's like they BSed that whole thing about "respecting the franchise". C'mon Frontier, the JP 2001 and 1997 pteranodons are VERY different. If both were in the game and the names were just swapped it wouldn't be a big deal, but this shows that they are aware of the fans' wishes to have the 1997 pteranodon but are still not including it.
Is there the intention to add the '97 variant eventually?The Pteranodon skin is the 2001 Pteranodon, it just has the incorrect name. The team is looking to edit this in the future
