x52 Controllers - Is there a way to...

Is there a way to ensure that the inputs from my x52 controllers are sent to the EliteDangerous32 windows process?

The problem that I have is that while I am waiting for Hyper space jumps / Super Cruise I will check out the interwebs / watch Twitch etc on another screen. This means that I can find myself heading straight for a sun or being interdicted. When I try using my controls to avoid the perils nothing happens because the Elite window doesn't have focus.

Ideally I would like my Saitek profile to always send input to Elite. Another way may be to add a macro to each controller action to change focus to Elite before sending the inputted command.

Help me Commanders - There must be a way to alleviate the boredom of super cruise and still be able to control your ship!!!

With interdiction I find there's little time to switch away. When I used to I found the same - the focus goes to your other monitor/window. I just used to click on the Elite monitor before resuming control.

I have no idea how you would ensure the Saitek sent it's input directly to Elite only, sorry.

Oh well! I was hoping that the saitek profile application would let you set up calls to other applications like Voice attack does but that doesn't appear to be the case

I might have found a way!

Using AutoHotKey I can activate the Elite application window (Activate windows with AutoHotkey).

Now if I can work out a way for the X52 profile to fire off the AutoHotKey command before the controller input command everything should be good.

We have to explain you how your OS works??
There is a arrow moved by your mouse, select the ED client and you are done. Or use ALT+TAB until you are not on ED Client
