See @Jens Erik it would be great, and tealistic, and it would lead to the mosasaurus scene with Zara! The flying reptiles feeding in marine lagoons would be awesome, especially if they get eaten! Would be great for wildlife reserves.
I like that idea. I just hope we don't have to maintain it every so often. The game's already stressful and constraining enough as it is.Agreed! They could even add a filtration system option to help clear up the lagoons. It might be a engine limitation, if that is the case, underwater viewing would make the most of overhead light to see the animals.
Escaped theropods too! @Jens Erik @Francesca Falcini you listeningThanks for all of the attention and feedback everyone! I love the idea of escaped pterosaurs getting eaten by large marine reptiles
I'd love something like the Indianapolis Zoo's Dolphin Dome for the more modern eras. For Jurassic Park, the Jurassic Park: The Game aquatic facility would be an awesome thing to have available in it.I would like the sea domes for lagoons
Yes like a submarine where the guests can see everything and maybe it could have no made oath and it just follows the marine reptiles in close proximity and maybe the dome could be like a floating bubble.I'd love something like the Indianapolis Zoo's Dolphin Dome for the more modern eras. Another thing that would be cool in all eras is an underwater tour vehicle. There's some concept art for a plesiosaur lagoon submarine thing from Jurassic World that would be awesome there...and I'd also love to see the river tours as another normal tour option anyway.
A submarine sounds like a deathtrap if you combine it with any of the larger lagoon animals.
Found the bit of concept art for the scene.Yes like a submarine where the guests can see everything and maybe it could have no made oath and it just follows the marine reptiles in close proximity and maybe the dome could be like a floating bubble.
I would realy like somthing like that !Found the bit of concept art for the scene.

Plesiosaur Pond
The Plesiosaur Pond was an attraction originally meant to appear in Jurassic World but was cut from the final film. It was to be a large pool like the Jurassic World Lagoon inhabitated by Plesiosaurus and several unidentified species of ichthyosaurs. Visitors to Jurassic World would be able to...jurassicpark.fandom.com
It's more of something like the old Disney Leagues subs
Another suggestion is a small lagoon what is much shallower and imitates coastal waters for smaller marine reptiles like Plesiosaurus and IchthyosaursMy main feedback for lagoons is that they are hard to see them from overhead or from viewing galleries because of how murky the water is. If possible, make the water less murky and more clear so it will be easier to see them. This could be why there are no decorations for the lagoons right now- it’s too hard to see kelp or rocks.
The shark feeder could be useable by other large marine carnivores, so it has more use besides the mosasaur.
Ideas:
Landscaping brushes or placeable items in lagoons. Kelp forests, corals, smaller schools of fish and rocks that they swim around are all ideas to make it look more natural.
Larger viewing galleries- the current ones are nice but being able to make wider and bigger ones will improve out view when we look out of them- plus the current sized ones seem small compared to how big lagoons can get.
Floating islands:
You are able to place a piece of land in a lagoon that can be terraformed and have rocks/ trees added to it. You can connect it to a bridge that goes over the lagoon or choose not to. The largest size can have a hotel or guest amenity buildings on it. So you can use them for decoration or for guests. Maybe even having a land animal paddock on it. The size of the island will reduce the total lagoon size so you may need to make the lagoon bigger to accommodate the animals living in them.
Tour tunnels and underwater domes:
Being able to see our lagoons from below might be even better in terms of lighting and seeing the dynamic animations. For tunnels there can be two kinds:
Pedestrian tunnels- where it goes from one side to another allowing access to different parts of the park. Foot traffic only. From either side of the tunnel guests have a view of the lagoon.
Vehicle/ Monorail tunnels- Where tour vehicles and the monorail can cruise through a tunnel to give a great view of the animals. Vehicles/ monorail only. From either side of the tunnel guests have a view of the lagoon.
My favorite- a underwater dome. A dome needs one connection to a path/vehicles tunnel and it can be in different sizes. The largest size domes could have amenities, decorations and small hotels inside- how cool would it be to eat lunch underwater or look out your hotel window to see marine animals? Domes, like tunnels, are on the bottom of the lagoons. A large dome will take swimming space away from a lagoon so it will have to be built even bigger to accommodate the animals. You can connect a foot traffic and a vehicles tunnel to it.
**EDIT I changed "Bubbles" to "underwater domes" as that makes much more sense. Lack of coffee in the morning![]()
Am I the only one who found that scene incredibly distasteful, unearned and just plain mean? Worst scene in the whole film.See @Jens Erik it would be great, and tealistic, and it would lead to the mosasaurus scene with Zara!
I'd assume that's more of an easter egg than a glitch thing...a nod to the Fallen Kingdom scene with the gyro going into the ocean. Something similar to what you can hear from certain dinosaurs if they've eaten people...I found a way today to drive/dive a Gyrosphere in the Lagoon, just like a submarine without any mods !!!
If you want to try it, thats how You can do it too!
1.) I build my testpark on the German Map and placed a really big lagoon down by the shore .
2.) build an Gyrospherebuilding high above on the hill with a short circle track.
3.) build an hill as close as possible to your fence of the lagoon.
4.) place a long rock horizontal like a bridge/ramp from the flattend hill as close as possible to the fence.
5.) drive in the gyrosphere down the hill to your ramp an you can drive over the rock like a skyjumper into the lagoon!
6.) have fun driving between your marine reptiles like in a Submarine on the Ground. You can view this animals and even hear them. Internal view works best, because you drive 20m deep in the lagoon and most of the Marine Reptiles dive often on the surface.
I wish you all fun with this " Preview" of a JW submarine....lol
ps. Tourtrucks and rangerjeeps can´t use this "glitch" ....they simply dissapear after the sink into the lagoon.
to be clear...you can drive the Gyrosphere under water hovering 1m over the ground lmost in the whole lagoon, you can switch all sightmodes ! its realy like a submarine, but you cant´t control the depth in which you are cruising under the surfaceI'd assume that's more of an easter egg than a glitch thing...a nod to the Fallen Kingdom scene with the gyro going into the ocean. Was mainly thinking because I'd have assumed the Gyrosphere driving uses the same general systems as the other vehicles and it's odd that it's just it which can go into the waterto be clear...you can drive the Gyrosphere under water hovering 1m over the ground lmost in the whole lagoon, you can switch all sightmodes ! its realy like a submarine, but you cant´t control the depth in which you are cruising under the surface!
in fakt you could be right and its a cool easteregg
Before the big patch cars etc. couldn´t even sink into the lagoons. I was very happy to find out that at least the Gyrospheres can drive to discover the lagoons from an other perspective. If you drive to a good piont of the lagoon and look up to the Marine reptiles above you and to hear that cool sounds they make is great. An Underwaterdome or Tunnel or an Microsubmarine would be just such an awesome attraction in our parks. A glass bottom boat for some kind of " Jurrassic marine tour " could be cool too.Was mainly thinking because I'd have assumed the Gyrosphere driving uses the same general systems as the other vehicles and it's odd that it's just it which can go into the water
