Oh ok.Thanks to everyone submitting their additional votes and of course to the new ones for participating! I am updating the list as of now. Since there have been so many posts and questions I'll answer in the meantime:
Sorry but the original list you submit is the definitive one. I could easily change your vote as you request but it'd set a bad precedent and people could start asking for replacements non-stop. I hope you understand and thanks for submitting your additional animals!
Thanks Markiz!
In case it wasn't clear, sorry but nope, replacements aren't and won't be a thing.
Sorry but nope. As it's been discussed here before, fully aquatic animals are allowed as long as they're big enough to be considered habitat animals. This is based on two criteria: 1) it is currently pretty much possible to build aquariums with some workarounds and if you disguise the habitat gate and the piece the land in front of it. 2) Animal behaviour (the time they spend on water) can be changed relatively easily. It's not like implementing a completely new system like proper aviaries (which btw hasn't been a thing in the zoo simulation games industry until JWE2).
That's it, indeed. Your 5 additional votes are being recorded.
I appreciate it!
It's in the works!
I mean any additional animals. I'll just ignore the other question lol.
Your 4 additional votes are good
I'm not entirely familiar with burrowing owl but wouldn't they be considered 'aviary animals'? I mean, don't they behave mostly like any other owl or bird of prey? If someone (including you) has more input on this I'd appreciate it. Otherwise I'd prefer if you included a different animal. Your list is on hold for now until confirmation
I'll only pick your 5 first animals since replacements are not allowed. Sorry!
Nope, as it's been said, just 5 sorry. Please re-post your list when you decide which 5 you want to include.
Also, a reminder to @Barje to pick just 5 animals out of your additional list. Thanks.
If your name is not there, it means you can participate. Looking at your message history, you most likely participated in the first iteration of the meta-wishlist (more than 1 year ago). This is a new one!@random goat I cannot find my name amongst the participants. Am I allowed to vote again in this thread?
Even if we ask that game's designer, the answer was probably this: wait. Not even a hint. There was a lot of new votes lately so I just can’t wait to see how the list is going to change now.
Especially after the Europe pack release - I wonder if red deer will become less popular?
Are there going to be some new and unexpected animals that will make it to

Exhibit animals are not included in this list - there is another thread started by DarthQuell that deals with exhibit animals.Thats correct, here is my 25 animals!
But it's already in the Game ._.White Tiger
I hope not (about the red deer decreasing in popularity) because I still want them in the game, especially now Frontier has shown they can make drop dead gorgeous deer. There was a lot of new votes lately so I just can’t wait to see how the list is going to change now.

I remember the time when porcupine and Tasmanian devil were both quite low on the list and was not popular at allI hope not (about the red deer decreasing in popularity) because I still want them in the game, especially now Frontier has shown they can make drop dead gorgeous deer.
I wonder about new and unexpected animals making it to the top... I hope something like a Patagonian mara rises through the ranks![]()
Thanks, I missed that part. Will remove and remake a new one.Exhibit animals are not included in this list - there is another thread started by DarthQuell that deals with exhibit animals.
There is also a aquatic Animals Meta Wishlist, so maybe you want to submit it there instead before it gets added to this ListI'll try to list 25 . . . but might add/subtract them sporadically or just give some now and TBC for the rest - I am biased and tending to want wet animals and Frontiers swimming mechanics are AWESOME, Also - i think there needs more variety of types of animals and Aquatics or Aviary animals are so needed - the animal roster is getting very same/same - to me and I tend to go for the wetter animals in game because you can do so much more with their enclosures. (also new Transport animals [not really animals])
