Sorry but nope. As it's been discussed here before, fully aquatic animals are allowed as long as they're big enough to be considered habitat animals. This is based on two criteria: 1) it is currently pretty much possible to build aquariums with some workarounds and if you disguise the habitat gate and the piece the land in front of it. 2) Animal behaviour (the time they spend on water) can be changed relatively easily. It's not like implementing a completely new system like proper aviaries (which btw hasn't been a thing in the zoo simulation games industry until JWE2).

I'm not entirely familiar with burrowing owl but wouldn't they be considered 'aviary animals'? I mean, don't they behave mostly like any other owl or bird of prey? If someone (including you) has more input on this I'd appreciate it. Otherwise I'd prefer if you included a different animal. Your list is on hold for now until confirmation ;)

For a long time I withhold from taking part in this list, because out of my original 30 animal list 0 were included at first. And I just couldnt bring myself to cut 10 animals out 😅However, the NA and Europe pack brought 3 animals from my old list to the game (California Sea Lion, Prairie dog and Eurasian lynx) and thankfully this list was extended to 25 animals, which means now I only have to cut 2 - which was still very hard, to be honest.

Very cool...I hadn't seen this thread until I got a notice about it this morning.

I honestly am pretty happy with any new animals so never thought about a wish list before, but looking through other people's lists gave me some inspiration.

There was a lot of new votes lately so I just can’t wait to see how the list is going to change now.

Especially after the Europe pack release - I wonder if red deer will become less popular?
Are there going to be some new and unexpected animals that will make it to the top now?

I hope not (about the red deer decreasing in popularity) because I still want them in the game, especially now Frontier has shown they can make drop dead gorgeous deer. ❤️

I wonder about new and unexpected animals making it to the top... I hope something like a Patagonian mara rises through the ranks :)

I remember the time when porcupine and Tasmanian devil were both quite low on the list and was not popular at all 🙃

I'll try to list 25 . . . but might add/subtract them sporadically or just give some now and TBC for the rest - I am biased and tending to want wet animals and Frontiers swimming mechanics are AWESOME, Also - i think there needs more variety of types of animals and Aquatics or Aviary animals are so needed - the animal roster is getting very same/same - to me and I tend to go for the wetter animals in game because you can do so much more with their enclosures. (also new Transport animals [not really animals])
