Backyard animals pack?

Many people have asked for animals that are common but special to them, or possibly rare and exotic in their part of the world. Real zoos do have some of these critters (I checked--the San Diego zoo even has a raccoon exhibit). Maybe one "backyard" critter for each continent, except Antarctica? These are critters that might not end up in a pack otherwise.

Red fox--Europe (we have a number of subspecies in North America too, though)
Raccoon--North America

Not so sure which species are super common "backyard critters" in other places, though. Maybe a mongoose for Asia? What critters are common "backyard" beasties in Australia, South America, and Africa?

Also assuming we don't get aviary animals in the game, which could change the nature of future animal packs so they aren't mostly mammals.

White-tailed deer are seen in people's yards (they come into my land right in front of the house up in northeast Texas), so that's another choice for North America

This is still red but more common in Europe:

Ooh, Virginia opossum. I've had many in my yard...

Also had screeching owls once (they don't screech at all, sounds more a wail)

I once had a hawk (or falcon) on my fountain in the yard, but I don't remember the species and I have to find the picture I took of it

In my back garden, the most obvious zoo animal would be the red fox - the past two years running we've had them breeding somewhere nearby so the cubs spend most of the summer in the garden.

The other option from my garden is the Reeve's muntjac, which is a non-native species in the UK but is rather frequently kept in zoos and often mixed in with red pandas. They mostly just pass through our garden but sometimes do come in to take food we put out for the birds.

As for a backyard creature from Asia, one good option could be the Siberian weasel. As weasels go they are pretty big, being considerably bigger than a meerkat. Apparently they are quite valued in Beijing for their rat-catching, to the point that if one is trapped in a house or chicken coop it will be moved to somewhere there have been rat complaints and then released again. They also look fabulous.

Of course, there are some rather more odd examples as well - I have recently found out that fishing cats live in Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka, where they move around via the system of canals and storm drains and take goldfish from people's garden ponds.

An interesting concept... but what we see in urban environments varies considerably depending on where you live... and it can get pretty wild in some places; leopards and boar in India for example...

Also, you all seem to be forgetting skunks... Columbus Zoo actually has a few in their own urban environment habitat...

So we have:
Racoon
Red fox
Wild boar
White tailed deer
Racoon dog
Virginia opossum
Squirrel
Hedgehog
Green vervet monkey
Mongoose

did I forgot anything?
Brushtail possum was mentioned although I think ringtail is more common in most places. In my last house I had echidnas, wallabies and possums but that was inT asmania which is,… different to the rest of Australia.
