movies being released only in theatres is like fdev saying they aren't going to work on ship interiors because they believe it will bore players.

I'm sure there are people who want to watch movies in a theatre, pay for overpriced concessions, swap covid, and have to watch it with clothes on. those people are weirdos in too small of a minority to matter anymore.

'Influencers' asking subscribers isn't a basis for making design decisions. Why do you think FDev removed the poll option from the forum years ago? You just get a lot of sock-puppets trying to get their own way.
a visible way for feedback is disabled in preference for one where only they are aware of the responses... I'm shocked.
since they didn't ask if players didn't want interiors, and no such other poll has shown this to be true but the opposite is. so how did they determine it would be boring to those players? magic? or is it more likely that whole reasoning is completely fabricated?
how come they could tell the players would be bored here and not implement the feature but they added supercruise, tons of uselessly empty systems you have to jump thru to get to some place you want, and barren empty worlds you have to travel across to stare at plants
if they were not disconnected from the players, none of that would exist.

It only messes with EDO / ED using the Valve Index... I never needed to launch ED/O from steam previously.I have Steam installed somewhere. I should probably care about it, if it messes with EDO.
