Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

They look different, like big panels that you can cut open, not like the small terminals inside.
Oh! Those! Gotcha - thanks!

Taking a break from on-foot stuff for a while. Going to push the carrier out a little way and do some old-skool exploration and probably chuck in some exobiology too. Just need a change of pace from trying to be stealthy, failing and dying horribly :D

Yeah, the on-foot missions have a good learning curve. It's one of the reasons I like them so well. They aren't too trivial. I've done enough of them to be fairly confident that I won't fail, now, but I've literally done hundreds of them. I find them quite enjoyable.

My main problem with them now is lack of (uninterrupted) time. I need an hour or two when I won't be distracted by dogs wanting to go out or acting up because they are bored, and that still isn't happening with the puppy around. She's getting better, and she's worth it, but yeah.

This is the look I get that means "stop playing on that computer, I need attention!"

Can't resist that face, though.

Hah! I swear pets have a natural instinct in knowing how to look at their human when they want something .

Suggested viewing Love, Death & Robots (stylized as LOVE DEATH + R⬮BOTS, and represented in emoji form as ❤️❌🤖) season 1, episode 2, Three Robots.
Suggested reading "Into Your Tent I'll Creep" by Eric Frank Russel.

For examples of pets relationship with us.

This. Foot missions are annoying in that you have to go back to the mission initiation point to hand them in within hours. Also, without new foot content, I have gotten pretty bored with foot missions . The cookie cutter settlements/furnishings/lack of meaningful NPC interaction etc. has finally gotten to me.

One of the reasons I'm back good ole exploration for a bit. I've found I've missed it and it's enjoyable.

Good grief.
Checking out the ships on the Tanya Wu account.
Not one is fully engineered, not even the DBX!

Minimum of three ships I need to sort out: DBX, Python, Anaconda. Probably a Vette after that, but that will be purely for credit earning.

And of course, she's got the freebie Courier now, but no use for it.🤷‍♀️
