Largest Number of Bios on One Body

I have just come across a body in odyssey with 8 biological species on it. I'm thinking there may be other with more.

What is the largest number of biologicals on one body that you have come across?

ive found 7, 3 times rest of the time its mosty 3 .
Of course mostly unable to scan right now which is really annoying to say the least, as Im on an exploration trip a long way out .

There's a few with 9 I believe (possibly even more), One example is Tucanae Sector AF-A d71 4 e (about 300 lys from Sol) which is the home of the Canonn Speed Scanning Challenge.

8 is my record also. I think water-based atmospheres tend to have more but I don't know what the upper limit is for each atmosphere/body type and temp range also plays a part.

Had a few with 10, the number of signals in the 8 - 10 range is overall quite low and increases rapidly as you get lower, but 10 is the maximum I have seen.

I've just take my first steps with searching for biological signals. Currently I'm lurking in a system with two planets with 7 signals each. Till now that's my highest numbers of signals, but I hope for more :)

Well, I just heard about this thread from Straha Yeagar. I've encountered an 11 bio CO2 atmosphere world. For your interest, here's what Elite Observatory Core has found in my logs:

The moon, 8a, has 0.07 atms surface pressure, 191 K surface temp, 0.05g, moon of a S-II GG with an F-type parent star.

I'm pretty sure I've seen someone else on a twitch stream find one as well (ammonia if memory serves).

If the hypothesis that Rocky Ice worlds can spawn all species from Icy worlds and rocky worlds is true the theoretical maximum is 15 (so all known genera).
If this isn't true (sadly there's no way to disprove it) the maximum is 13 on rocky bodies only missing Electricae and Fonticulua.

Did I also hear that some species from non-atmospheric worlds can also appear on atmospheric, like Brain Trees? That would increase the number of possibles.

Spinal Tap World!😜

I forgot about that. I've seen a Horizons bio on a atmospheric body myself, so you're completely right.
