-Also how much space will it take in my ssd? Can I uninstall horizons to save space or are both horizons and odyssey required for odyssey to work properly? Any advice welcome and sorry for many & stupid questions - I have taken a loong break and trying to assess if a return is worth the time investment.. hardware upgrade is out of the question atm and not warranted just for odyssey anyway imho even if it was possible..

Regarding your question - it seems that the only way to get the answer is to try as everyone gets different results independent of hardware. So tbh I would copy your post into a new thread in the odyssey section mate. You will get some stupid answers from "experts" and probably some daft jokes from us lot too, but it's the best place to canvass. Hope this helps :)

For a bit of on topic:
Last night I'd had enough...
...UI issues and targeting didn't work which were integral to the things I'd had planned for the xmas holiday. The whole game felt like a mess and X4 was calling.

Simon Bates was onboard to read my leaving thread over 'our tune' (£50 deposit was taken), a playlist of mournful videos were prepared culminating in my starter cobra leaving lave station and flying in to the sun with the doors "the end" playing in the background. This would be over 18 hours of 'content'.

I'd even packed up my stuphz:

Today I found the 'horizons' button on the launcher and all the issues were resolved.

Praise Brabus for I am saved.
