ED Odyssey graphics rendering issue

I have the HP Pavilion 690-0013w Gaming Desktop PC. I know it's not cutting-edge or state-of-the-art, but it's what I have.
CPU:
AMD Ryzen5-2400G (Raven Ridge)
CPU speed: 3.6 GHz (max turbo boost - 3.8 GHz)
CPU cores: 4
CPU Cache: 4 MB L3
TDP: 45~65 W

GPU:
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050
Maximum resolution:
DVI (dual-link) resolution: 2560x1600x24bpp @ 60 Hz
HDMI resolution: 4096x2160x24 bpp @ 60 Hz
DisplayPort resolution: 5120x3200x24bpp @ 60 Hz / 7680x4320 @ 60 Hz YUV 420 8 bit
Memory size: 2 GB (128-bit)
Memory type: 128Mx32 GDDR5 @ 4 pcs
Total power consumption: 75 W
Supports up to three displays at the same time.
Engine clock: 1354 MHz (Base) / 1455 MHz (Boost)
Memory clock: 3500 MHz
Cooling: Active fan-sink with 2 pin fan control
DirectX: DX 12
PCIe: PCIex16 Gen 3

RAM:
Amount: 8 GB
Speed: PC4-21300 MB/s
Type: DDR4-2666

With these specs, when I initially bought and was playing Odyssey, the game was rendering fine. However, since around the time of this latest update last week, I have been having issues with the "on foot" portion of the game. Best shown in how the guns are rendered.

What are your suggestions as to improvements I can do to correct this problem? I have tried everything I know. I have watched YouTube videos, etc. Please help if you can. Thanks in advance.

GPU is Nvidia GeForce GTC 1050 The specs of that GPU are in my first post above. Thank you for the reply.
insufficient VRAM (4 GB). Anything that has less than 6 GB will struggle with texture details, anything that has less than 8 GB (i.e. GTX 1060 6 GB) will struggle to keep all textures in memory and will be on 100% use.

Hmmm, must be some of those recent optimizations got you...but is does seem weird though. It stoo bad one can't go back and verify the issue on the older game client...

I have friends who play on 1650S and 1660S, which you may be able to get cheap (ish)...

EDIT: Oh and I do remember there was a patch a few back where one of the plasma rifles was missing some of its bits on the safe end, not sure aobut the details though

never had a problem with gpu 1060 gtx with textures :D

i'm on ultra and high settings with upscaling on.

That answers that. Thanks for the input. I guess it's back to Horizons on PS4 until I update my GPU
I wouldn't necessarily give up that easily. If it was working before the latest patch then it should work again.

What graphics settings are you using in game?

Is anything else running on your PC?

Which OS are you using (Windows 10 or 11 or something else)?

I have been experiencing an issue on my own rig (X570 - 3700X - 16GB DDR4-3200 - RTX 2060 6GB - 1440p - Win 10) where undder certain conditions (higher than normal ram usage for no apparent reason mainly) gives me a very jittery display when panning left and right, like I can see all of the intermediate steps of the graphics display but very slowly.

I have to reboot my machine completely to get it working right. TBF I do overclock my 2060 a little and that could be the root of my issues but this only started recently (month or so ago) and I've been overclocking since June.

I use the settings suggested by the game. That being the high setting. This is the same setting I used before the update. I updated and then reinstalled my GPU drivers. I modified the settings after doing some google searches about similar issues. Nothing worked. I just completely overhauled my rig. Installed an SSD so the drive isn't the bottleneck and doubled my memory from 8 to 16 GB. Maybe this will work. It's a cheaper option rather than buying a new GPU. I'm going to give it a try tonight and see if the upgrades helped.
