State of the Game

The question is if I want to pay $40 for a game that I probably use only about 10% of the content.
Likewise. I'll pay $10 for it at some point, but it's not worth $40 to me.
Added to which, I'm certainly not buying it until the codebase merge happens, because that is the point at which FDev consider it stable enough to no longer be an Early Access release.

Nothing like Wal-Mart. :)
Ummm, no. I don't buy cheap (relatively inexpensive and poorly made) stuff anymore.

TV is a Samsung flagship purchased from Costco on clearance due to being previous year's model.

Monitor is HP Omen 27i 165 Hz purchased at Best Buy on sale a few days after xmas last year. Also picked up a Razer BW Elite II keyboard for $80 that day. It was 50% off.

I think the laptop can handle Oddy. The question is if I want to pay $40 for a game that I probably use only about 10% of the content.
Have you had an opportunity to try Odyssey content via friend or some such. It certainly has issues but I really like it. OTOH EDO is the only game I play.

None of my much better equipped friends will touch Elite.

Sorry to veer madly off topic, but it's okay as there are no mods around, I've finally got round to loading EDO. I started it about an hour ago, when it said 3 hours to go. It now says, erm, 3 hours to go...

In the end it took just over two hours... \o/ ...now, time to check the key bindings...
