not really, did you see what Star Citizen gave their player on the last day of their gift event?

I'm pretty grateful, 140 Million credits, a free ship,some free cosmetics, and some holiday fireworks. I dunno what else more you want.

Didn’t “want” anything per say. Point I was trying to make is the flak launchers seem like an afterthought…..10 mill credits per cache with 100 million on Xmas day….useful. Free Imperial courier…..useful. Free skins for 2 ships…..useful. Free snowflake bobble head…..useful. Free festive jumper (even if it is for oddessey only!)….useful. Free luxury passenger cabin…..useful. Coloured flak launchers……erm ….do you see where I’m going with this. As I said, not moaning or anything just why is all I was asking when EVERYTHING else has a use…..Unless they are planning on doing some sort of giveaway/promo with pics/videos what are we going to do with them other than take up 3 valuable mod slots in storage???

My only complaint is that they're medium hardpoints so as of today I can no longer fit them all on the AspX I've been using to collect goodies.

Doesn’t take up space in inventory and plenty of ppl like to splatter their cockpits with bobble heads as opposed to flying around with weapons that deal zero damage???? Good luck in open play with those equipped

Hah, that would be kind of brilliant! Today's gift is pretty rich, I could see WC playing a nice prank on those who are too eager to grab the final cache. Unlikely, but funny.

So to the question of utility - FYI the flak launchers count as an impulse attack weapon, and do have enough oomph to push ships around a bit without doing significant damage. That's actually quite useful for certain purposes!

The community started going (a bit) crazy thinking they might be getting a free bike, or at least a voucher for a discount. On the last day, the last gift was.... a reveal of an upcoming bike. Of course had the same happened in Elite, the people being angry would be completely unjustified and would be offered some eggs.
