As with Blip I was weighing up whether to fork out for the snowflake.
The fireworks flak will be useful for buckyballers who shoot off flak at the end of a race. The reduction in damage may be appreciated by cmdrs who wound up on the recieving end of celebrations.

I don't think that's the case. Nobody has to do it right away, as those gifts will be available for two weeks.

I also want to say that they couldn't predict it would be found immediately after posting galnet article, but I can't, since I actually don't believe that ;)

It would be hilarious if 100 mil was a typo.

That thought definitely crossed my mind too! Sure it could be that they simply wanted to give a special larger prize for the clue that released on Christmas, but 100M does feel almost suspiciously high. If it's not a typo and not unusually bountiful holiday generosity, one wonders if W. Cat is Up To Something.

Certainly not a typo in the message text, no. Many of us have collected that payday by now and it is as described. A typo in the underlying script that set up the scenario? Perhaps unlikely, but a possibility worth considering.

After the legendary Hudson vs Winters CG, I don't think that 100M was a typo, but more of a thematic giveaway of a bit of Rackham's fortune. 😊
