391K for Platinum?

Search BULK SALES TAX or wait for some one else to copy and paste, if you can't be bothered and just want to whine, to realy Know how Bulk trading works you have to read up on bulk sales tax in the game...
Short version is the bigger the CARGO rack is and the more full the LESS you get paid per ton... Inara list ZERO ton PRICE and Delivered past high tonnage prices,,.
the lower price is the higher tonnage.... The higher the tonnage you arrive with thats nearer the demand the lower you get paid...
I must of missed this but... not sure if i can get my head around what you're saying. If what i think you're saying....then i had no clue there was a "tax"....ergh the "T" word

Are you saying its better to shop around for best sell price with lower amounts in your hold or type of racks installed? So 6-7e instead of 8's for example, or is it just based on what you're holding. I still have a head ache forgive me.

Logic is now telling me to use a medium ship and dock on the smaller pads/stations that seem to offer 10-20k more (at time of writing) hmmm interesting

No the best thing to do is ignore price and look at demand only first...
Does not matter what the price is if demand is garbage the price will be nuked by bulk sale tax...
Would not matter if the price was 500K if the demand is only 2 tons youll never get that price...
Arriving with 1 ton will trigger bulk sales tax and kill the price down to around 260K at a guess as you arrived with 50% of the demand...

What you need to learn is the ratio of demand versus the tons you carry in your ship at that sale location...
Using Zero tons in cargo rack will show you the max price in the station but if the damand is only 2 tons then that station is useless as a sale location...

Example So when looking at Inara any station with only a demand of <50 is useless to even small ships...

There all use less as the demand is so low even having 1 ton will cripple the price... ignore price and match stations with demand first... click the demand selector on inara..
Station with 10K+ on demand less than 1 hour old will insue their listed sale price as bulk sale tax will take naffall...

Demand first with out high demand the other info is useless any way...

Edit = Quantity column inara calls it instead of demand value...

If you had been around at ~12:20am GMT last night/morning you could have joined the rush to sell here...

i was starting to see a pattern, kinda makes sense when you think about it, sort by QTY first then price got it.

Also...sooo is that the cough " reset time 12.30 GMT?
Na thats a random player landing at that time uploading the data.... The price was allready live on server for over 15 hours it was only made public at that time by the user sharing it..
The price tick server is currently changing prices between 8am- 9am GMT every day as the states require..
A third party site currently tracks the state change server...
Platinum requires high population for high Demand + industry economy + boom + civil liberty (raises price lowers demand a bit) and expansion (increases demand) to get high price and high demand.. if any of those states expire so does there bonus effect...
