The article may also read as Sirius providing the money to for the Alliance to get their ships (same T-10 and C-ships)
So it does not necessarily mean we will get new ships, although that cannot be excluded either. Maybe they are setting the terrain for launching new ships when EDO will get launched on Consoles too.
