I’m currently at home in a system with 5 factions. I’m knocked down the influence of the 2nd highest faction to dead last (they were lazy and good for nothing 🤪) . SIRIUS CORP has gotten their britches to big here real fast and its time the little guy (a very minor anarchy group) had a chance to cause some real mayhem around this otherwise peaceful and boring system. Yes, I’m a little stinker.
Now Sirius is going to try and crawl back up the ladder of influence. They are now getting prepped for a conflict (yay, more war!) with the anarchy group, tomorrow the real fun begins.
1. But I’m wondering today if I started taking pokes at their current influence level, would it have a small or added effect to the war effort tomorrow?
2. Since Sirius recently expanded into the system, is there a way this will make em leave or is that subject to the whim of someone at a desk at FDev.
Personally I like having em around, they fight like a bunch of school girls. (I’m awesome) 😁

1. Once the conflict is pending, their Influence is locked for the duration of the conflict (with a edge cases exceptions). During Pending you can gather Bounties and complete some Combat Missions to hand in once the Conflict it live, but otherwise its a bit of a dead day.

2. Get them below 2.5% to trigger Retreat, then keep them there until they leave.

They’re at 13.7% now. Maybe after I hammer the snot out of em (100 kills + a day) the influence might be within range of being doable.
Maybe I’ll keep these sissies around, I’ll likely “try“ to boot em out for the sake of being able to say “yeah, I did that “
Either or, I appreciate the reply and advice, Cmdr

Variety is the spice of life in BGS. You may find it more effective* to boost the INF of other, preferred factions in the system rather than trying to push Sirius downward by doing negative things to them.

Have fun!

* but not exclusively better. Both can contribute to achieving the desired pecking order in the system.

I’ve mastered the pecking order several times here very well. I for some reason, never bothered With Sirius. I whooped em pretty bad last week, bad enough to knock em down 3 spots from #2 to #5, where they belong (lazy bums that they are).
Hopefully train wreck em to where I can boot em out of here for giggles sake.
