Update 10 - Odyssey and Horizons

Very preliminary tests but: guys! You made fixed TC nicely seems! Scaling is working and it feels like its non-linear!
Really awesome! Omw to do more tests and make a vid.

Odyssey patch 10: TC FIX

preliminary tests are done:
- damage is really scaling
- max bonus at ~160% (no difference with 350% as well) still +60%

Medium SRB TC PA (damage: 95) to non engineered shields did:
- below 90% of heat: 92,92
  • at 120% of heat: 99
  • at ~160% of heat: 147,5

• Polyporous growths on brain trees can be splattered once again
While we are now able to shoot the Polyporous Growths from Brain Tree's (this also applies to the Cordycep Growth, Mussidaen Seed Pod and Phloem Excretion), there is now a new issue of only being about to scoop up one material before it gets "stuck" in the cargo scoop (the cargo scoop gets stuck on "Material Acquired" and will not allow you to scoop any more) - currently the only solutions that have worked for me is to re-board my ship with my SRV between each material pickup, or to re-login between each material pickup, which is obviously quite tedious.

I think the mechanic who works on the cargo scoop might need to have a "gentle" shin-kicking...

Observations:
• Sometimes the materials will get stuck in the Brain Tree's,
• the Aculeus Launcher on the Scorpion SRV DOES NOT knock off the growth's off the tree's,
• Frag Grenades DO NOT knock off the growth's from the tree's,
• handheld weapons DO shoot off the growth's from the tree's (Tested with Tormentor, Intimidator, Executioner).

Also - Purple Brain Tree is the Best Brain Tree.

With the CQC community, we have open a ticket about stabilities issues using a specific ship.
We didn't got response since it opening (nobember 7th 2021).

Since this week-end, it got worse and it's very unstable, making it hardly playable.

That seems to be a server side issue, probably related to the one regarding not being able to buy/sell limpets from the carrier
I wonder if mining works with these server issues (picking fragments and having the refinery turn them into cargo)
 
Patch notes look good (y) ... testing how it works. So far one new issue found, see below.

SRV cargo scooping is very unreliable with various crazy movements when trying scoop close to cargo racks. See attached image, my SRV is directly above selected material, but scooping not work (and that HUD readibility is not very great too ...) I needed in speed bump into cargo rack to collect material, and my SRV was after jumped high into air ..

can we get this dust effect looked at please.. it makes aiming almost impossible at times. Really gets in the way of gameplay. It needs to be toned down or replaced.
