No powerplay news is disappointing!

I didn't think they were even going to look at powerplay until after the engineering thing at least, so I wasn't expecting anything. But thanks for reminding me, I need to do my fortification runs for this week. Can't have the Emperor falling that much behind!
Stealth Power Play CC Bug Fixed but not mentioned in Patch Notes.
So logged in to EDH to begin my gaming day later than usual, patch/update day paranoia just a little; and what a surprise - - POWER PLAY CC Bug submitted, err, resubmitted less than 48 hours ago - FIXED, really, CC not being returned after systems turmoiled was actually returned to more that one Power. Thank you @Bruce G , @sallymorganmoore, et al. So encouraged that I'm even thinking I'll give EDO another try (stopped playing after U9) and test my new laptop super cooling fan and see if I can play without crashing or being distracted by mutant bugs that were generated by bug fixes. Either way, playing EDO or EDH, serious thanks for listening and give those who play Power Play daily a seriously needed Power Play fix o7.
 
I have to say, the chrome(d) and gold(en) paintjobs are fairly brutal and not at all what was expected.

If they're not sorted, will Frontier be willing to offer Arx refunds, given the amount they cost?
 
Happy to report Update 10 fixed the active hostiles in the HUD radar, they now show in red. Saw some reports that SRVs have trouble picking up raw mats but, thankfully, no issues with picking space combat aftermath mats. I did not notice performance improvements, though it had been acceptably good before.

From my point of view, continued issues include: severe anti-aliasing issues on anything that's med or med-long distances. Up close, like inside the ship or station, things look great. Arriving at a station or landing on a carrier shows very high AA problems.

A more immediate issue: the Comms panel is still bugged. The original issue was marked fixed, but a new issue was introduced. This new issue expired before it was looked into, unfortunately. The issue continues to exist and, at least for VR users, it's a major drawback. (TL;DR = looking at Comms activates it but the 'local' channel is cleared so you can't read what's there)
 
@sallymorganmoore : launcher not close down entirely, even if the launcher was exited. (steam will close it eventually).but in task manager there no edlauncher visible.and it take forever for steam to close a program.
 
There’s a small army of people that aggressively apologise for them every time it’s checked. Why not take advantage of that.
Because with every botched release a little bit of faith in the company is destroyed and lost forever.
I think I saw it on DTEA who said: Every time someone screws up, they have to be twice as awesome to make up for the loss from before.

And no amount of apologies will ever make up for the loss of reputation and image that has happened in the last 9 months here.
I know they are trying to fix their game, add promised features. But IMHO, by the time it gets delivered, there won't be any audience left.
 
After 8 years of trying to keep up with what's new, what's broke, what's working as intended, what's a bug, what needs to be fixed, what will be fixed, what fix broke something else that used to be fixed before and will it ever get fixed again...

Yeah - a certain amount of fatigue and indifference sets in

I just fly around and do things now and just ignore the annoyances

Not much else can be done at this point

There's isn't any evidence that what I or anyone else may input will change the way FD does things

Ignore, play, enjoy - knowing that ED could be so much more...

What else can ya do?
 
idk if anyone has already discussed this but just updating rn. 2.85GB Update. That surely can't just be all bug fixing content. Probably new "narrative based content" was added in U10?
 
Why, when I take a mission to destroy and fly to this mission, the authorities of the system arrive there and in a few seconds, while I flew, they destroy my target and because of this the mission fails? That's fine, but when I fly into the liquidation mission of the wing, there are a lot of opponents and these "ships of the authorities" begin to sneer at everyone and the turrets touch these ships, thereby making them hostile to themselves. Remove this nonsense, please, now it is almost impossible to take on missions to destroy. And so the reward for them became less, so also this.
