Elite Launcher forcing login now?

For the past day, my launcher comes up with the orange login. When I do open the login, the correct credentials are there as well as "remember password" and "remember me" being checked.

I then "logged out the machine", re-entered credentials, retrieved the code from email and re-authenticated. Still occurring.

Something change? Frontier forcing you to login to the launcher now?

Meto except it already had my login and password in the boxes. BTW, got crashed to desktop at a guardian site JUST as I was FINALLY getting a blueprint. Logged in again, same thing (the remember password thing). Also noted could only pick up one thing with my SRV's cargo scoop, everything else is ignored.

Decided to head back to where my ship was parked. Radar said it was where I parked it, but only the blue square was there, not the ship. Circled around in the event I passed it by a hill but then crashed to desktop again. Tried again, same situation with the ship not being where it should have been, dismissed it (square flies away but no ship in sight), after about 10 minutes recalled, got it back. Now parked near the guardian site, staying there as I've practiced finding these pylons and what order I'm going to activate them, dry runs to make sure I've got it down pat.

I've been out of town for a few days so I'm assuming that update 10 has dropped and this is part of a (new) bug.

I get this as well, every time I start the game launcher. Also have to re-authenticate my account every time I update inara. Both of these only started happening today so I have no doubt the two are linked.

Did it one time yesterday.
Immediately closed launcher, reopened launcher, worked fine.

I'm getting the login thing on the launcher now, the cookie session seems to be a few hours now rather than unlimited before. My login details are already completed & I only have to click the button to see the normal (blue) launcher and have not needed to verify.

It's only a couple more clicks for me so not a big deal (having to verify each time would be more frustrating) but doesn't seem to achieve anything. I have the 'remember me and 'automatically log me in' boxes ticked, and have for years without issue.

Linked I think. Interesting thing with Inara. This sounds like a CAPI problem (bug).

I thought the launcher worked something like a browser, saving credentials so you don't have to repeatedly login.

I verified all the files. None missing.

Got a bad gateway error this morning but that's all, shut down and restart launcher, re-enter password and I'm in. And no, I never set any games to remember my password, only my username.

I had this once last night, closed the programme restarted and it was fine. At first I thought it was network issues at my end as that's what it normally is.

Yes I also have been having this problem and I have three machines and had the same with all of them at different times in the last few days.

Got the bad gateway both yesterday and today, on first login attempt. Re-entering the password was enough in my case to get in.

Probably there was an issue with the authentication servers.
I can currently login without issues. Wasn't working few minutes ago.
