What Elite: Dangerous merchandise would you like Frontier to release?

One thing I would really like is a re-release of the Frontier: Elite II T-Shirt!

I'd like to see a nice engraved tankard or pint glass (the jar type with a handle).

Then I can glug a frothing pint of mead from a 'respectable receptacle' as I zoom between the stars.

there is lots of stuff i'd like to see an ED shield logo on, there are so many vista print type places out there that will put it on just about anything from a key-ring to a car bonnet - FD come across as a savvy lot so i expect a wide range of licencing deals once the game is out, unfortunately most firms that use that sort of business model wouldn't want to know for a good few months yet.

it's a real shame as I'd love to turn up to a festival this summer with an anaconda shaped sleeping bag and a beach ball shaped like a space station

Merchandising, merchandising ... maybe we can all meet back here for Elite Dangerous 2 ... "the search for more money!"

T-Shirts and the like aren't my interest but something decent like a custom PC case shaped of a ship or Elite branded .. something fancy for those building cockpits or want something unique.

hah! I actually designed Elite Monopoly years and years ago! I had a Word document with the templates for replacement board "squares" but never got round to designing the mortgage cards.

probably not possible with the clash of IP's, you'd need a licence from FD & from hasbro. 'fair use' may allow you to adapt a monopoly set you already owned for your own and a few friends pleasure but you would never be able to sell it.

i think a close examination of the media usage rules is in order to see if it would be possible to release an ED theme pack skin and rule set, it could be fun
