Newcomer / Intro does frontier advertise on the hub screen or main menu when downtime is coming?

Planned outages are either assumed to be known (like the regular Thursday maintenance) or advertised on the Forums (and Twitter, for some reason) well in advance.
Unplanned outages are advertised in game through HUD and comms panel, with varying lead times (and varying reliability 🤷‍♂️)

Won't help you, but I found it in general not a too bright idea to stack multiple missions with a short deadline.

So basically, if you don't follow twitter (I don't) and you don't check the forums regularly (I don't) but you do play the game all the time, I'm effed? " Assuming" I'm aware of "regular scheduled maintenance" is a farce because I'm sure they stopped announcing that they're going to do that a long time ago because they "assume" everyone knows.

2nd: Not everyone cares or WANTS a social media presence. That's why I AVOID the metaverse/facebook/occulus ecosystem. I play the game, why can you NOT let me know 24 hours in advance with red or yellow letters on the hub screen INSTEAD OF ENDLESS TEXT THAT AMOUNTS TO LITERALLY NOTHING but backstory in a sandbox game that neither needs it nor wants it. ALL OF THAT is 100% not helpful, but a "maintenance in 24 hours" is. Please re-prioritize your use of use-less fan fiction to keep your space shooter "connected" or whatever. Seriously, nobody reads that rubbish.

Know what we WOULD read?

Downtime Text telling me when the servers are going down...you know...further than 50 minutes into the future.
