New 25 essential habitat animals META-WISHLIST

Nut

Nutrit, Planet Zoo had two brown bear subspecies from different continents, so why not leopards?
Because those are the rules of this list established and discussed a really long time ago. It’s not a reason for a debate anymore.

Sorry if that answer would not be fully satisfactory for you. But it is what it is.

Quotting one of the rules here:
  • As a general rule of thumb, animal species is the preferred category for animal submissions. Subspecies from already in-game animals are also accepted. Subspecies from animals that are not in-game will automatically be allocated to the superior species category. Specific domestic animals breeds are also accepted.

I know you all probably already missed some fresh and delicious news about my favorite piggies 😂🙈
And don’t forget to vote for them on your amazing lists 😋

Did you know that you can feed quirky Red River Hogs at Poty Lympne! 🐽

Upgrade your visit to Port Lympne with a Red River Hog experience! 🧡

Offer the hogs one of their scatter feeds for the day, experience a wealth of natural behaviours whilst gaining an insight into this amazing species by our expert keepers, including how do they protect and conserve this species through their overseas projects.

Well, if I'm ever traveling abroad, I know where I'm staying now lol. Sounds like a fantastic experience.

What do you mean with Captivity? Specialized Breeding Centers or are some Zoos starting to keep them again?

Absolutely agree that we still need way more Primates. Also thanks for including a Species of Spider Monkey. Maybe this will make it more likely for them to be added
Yeah, we need more primates.

I could name at least 20 primates I would like to see in a game but I would also be satisfied with primate themed animal pack.
3 species I want the most are: Lion tailed macaque, Mantled guereza and Howler monkey.
Nice selections. I would mention aswell the golden snub nosed monkey, any gibbon, any tamarin, the mentioned Spider monkey, any sifaka...

Yes!!! Let the Fellowship of the Golden Snub nosed Monkey grow :D
We definitely also need at least one Species of Baboon (I'd prefer the Olive Baboon) and I'd absolutely love it to see the Aye Aye in the Game (even better if we get special Pieces that let us create dark Rooms above the Ground)

my prediction for the next DLC. Tropical pack. Biome pack pulling from as many continents as possible.

Capybara(South America) Already datamined
Lord Howe Island Stick insect(Australia)(Exhibit) Already datamined
Asian Small Clawed Otter(Asia)
Red River Hog(Africa)
American Flamingo(North America)

adding more amazonian/island/nautical themed stuff including the floating hoop enrichment and bouys(with net underneath the surface as a low grade barrier for water habitats) (Both found in NA Animal pack datamine)

I’d put something else in for exhibit and replace the flamingo with a tree kangaroo… Oceania is in desperate need of habitat animals.

  1. Tasmanian Devil
  2. Bennett's Wallaby
  3. Yellow-Footed Rock Wallaby
  4. Emu
  5. Southern Hairy-nosed Wombat
  6. North Island brown kiwi.
  7. Fossa
  8. Iberian Lynx (would remove now we have Eurasian lynx)
  9. European Badger (now in game)
  10. Cougar (now in game)
  11. Californian Sea Lion (now in game)
  12. South American Coati
  13. Serval
  14. Vicuna
  15. Aye-aye
  16. Hamadryas Baboon
  17. Scimitar-horned Oryx
  18. Przewalski's Horse
  19. Small-clawed otter
  20. Old-world monkey (any)
..... Quite a few Australian animals on the list, but I still think it's the most underrepresented continent.
So, three of my initial 20 are now in game and I’d remove one since a similar species has been added.. adding 5 more is, therefore, a win. Oceania remains the least well represented region in the world so I’m just going to go ahead and add animals from there :)
  1. Tree kangaroo (any)
  2. Echidna (any)
  3. Platypus
  4. Lyre bird
  5. Quoll (any)

Hmm... if they stick to the current pattern we'll be getting an Animal Pack next. My current hope is for a pair of Hemisphere Animal Packs... would cover a lot of bases. Going with what we know from datamining, I'd say the Southern Hemisphere Animal Pack would be first, looking something like this:
  • Capybara
  • Maned Wolf
  • Red River Hog
  • Fossa
  • Emu
  • Tasmanian Devil
  • Rockhopper Penguin
  • Lord Howe Island Stick Insect

I love speculation😉

To me the most probable Next step is an animal rainforest/tropical pack:
Capybara
Maned wolf
Sloth
Leopard
Red River Hog
Gibbon
Howler monkey/small clawed otter/fossa

Other options are South America animal pack/Amazon animal pack
Capybara
Maned wolf
Sloth
Howler monkey
Coati
Ocelot/spectacled bear/mara/any tamarin...
Maybe they could introduce Amy flying Bird as a macaw, toucan or andean condor, but I find It much less posible.

The last option is a Frontier' s surprise with an Aviary pack with 8-10 species. It is not very probable, but I think that the eggs presentes in the last pack may be a track

I like to hear about predictions so I too have some prediction that will probably be seen in March or late March I think it will be Amazon Animal Pack and the animals I hope to see or actually see them included:
  1. Capybara
  2. Howler Monkey
  3. Maned wolf
  4. two-toed sloth
  5. Coati
  6. Ocelot
  7. Spider Monkey,Brazilian porcupine,macaw,toucan..
  8. Green anaconda/Emerald tree boa for exhibit

There are loads of threads about speculation and wish lists, maybe the conversation should continue in one of those.
Indeed.

I'm not even sure why the idea of an Amazon Pack became so popular anyway. The South America Pack and Aquatic Pack together filled out tropical South America pretty well, and although there are obvious gaps in that roster still it doesn't seem likely that they'll revisit it wholesale again.
