Ship Interiors!!

Ship Interiors would not be an efficient investment of developer time, because the game was not designed with them in mind, and any well-integrated interior system would require substantial other content based around it.

For example, a boarding mini game would take away from the current flight model and combat system. A repairs Mini-Game would take away from the existing repairs systems, as well as being totally unrealistic with ships of this size. Salvage would not benefit from Interiors, as it's already perfectly acceptable to salvage the outside of a ship. Crews would take a massive Redevelopment of the engineering system to be balanced.

The only real benefit of ship Interiors is immersion, but that alone is not enough to justify it and its substantial development cost.

The only reason why I still "waste" a part of my life playing games is that we moved on from "Go North - You can't go North". Immersion is everything (for me, you see).
