Paint job looking good!

Have they done stuff with the paint job wear look? I can't remember my Phantom looking as funky as this before, I never repair the paint and I must say, it's looking good, you can tell it's been around the galaxy a bit!

What is the base paint job here, and do you know the percentage wear on it? (Looks the business whatever it is!) o7

It's just the base paint job, and it's all wear, the distance it's done there shouldn't be any paint left so guarantee it's 100% wear, and that's just how I like it! Not been repainted since I got it and rigged it for exploration, let me check, yep, 1,896,185ly!

Yep I noticed my Krait looking like that too. Looks great. Very rustic and Mandalorian looking. Especially with the chrome paint jobs

They still have a few old paint jobs they need to fix up yet, STILL waiting on Tactical Ice jobs to actually look white, not grey.

I guess you are onto something..

My ship used to look like a candy with candy wrap sticking to it, after you tried hard to peel it off, and it only came off in those tiny pieces... Eventually you decide to put it in your mouth and spit the pieces of candy wrap out later...

Now the paint wear and tear looks a bit more sophisticated... Here my three different paintjobs:

Yeah, I've noticed that the wear model is different in Odyssey vs Horizons. As with almost everything, it's better in Odyssey than Horizons.

You could probably manage that perspective using the vanity camera from an SRV. The HUD is rather a dead giveaway though!

Umm, possible, but a bit difficult while landed due to ground clipping, I'm not particularly good with the camera suite and always get envious when people post such great pictures, not of them mind you but of their ability to manage the camera suite so well .
