Something screams out at me that @sovapid was being a tad sarcastic... I guess it went over your head since he missed out the emojisIs that the only conspiracy theory you believe in?
No, seriously now. You're just kidding, right?![]()
'Twas a good post that one...eloquently echoes the feelings of more than a few of us as longer term backers. An original backer with $10k+ spent, long read

An original backer's take on the roadmap. - Star Citizen Spectrum
I backed Star Citizen nearly 10 years ago, and while this is a very lengthy post, and honestly one of countless posts on the subject, I felt it was necessary and prudent to voice my opinion on the...robertsspaceindustries.com
It will always fascinate me when fans often decide to compartmentalize the issue just as a communications problem. I guess that saves them the headache of realizing that comms in this case are just a faithful reflection of the underlying core problems, poor management, crappy product and worst delivery. Plus comms are anyways the ultimate responsibility of Chris Roberts.

Hell, by the time salvage gets into the game I'll be that age...or deadThat part about their 86 year old friend that stopped appearing on Teamspeak (Teamspeak?!!! Blast from the past!) and presumed to be dead. Right in the feels.
It's not the fans that are compartmentalising the issue, just content creators. You can read (mostly) unfiltered what the 'fans' think about Ci¬G's hubris on reddit and spectrumIt will always fascinate me when fans often decide to compartmentalize the issue just as a communications problem. I have actually seen many a fan in general also often argue similarly in reddit and Spectrum (not just now), hence my comment. I often hoped violent NPCs would come out of hyperspace and whack those ED passenger ships, before I had to hear yet another announcement.Watched most of it earlier today. Reasonable guys. Dig32 used to be an ED player as well (quick! Someone alert LtnDan!).
However, easy to tell how they became SC fans. Listen to them talk about ED's passenger ships with their chat about wedding barges and stuff saying how nice it was, how it added to the immersion. I had to laugh. Some people are way too easily impressed.
Yes, let's egg them! Its probably been a trying time this last week for the faithful, having to try and decide on which narrative to spin to make CIG look good without CIG issuing a clarifying statement or apology.
Poor guys, they probably need some eggs.
I think you're just reading between the lines to see what you want to see. As a 'fan', I get a whole different take on it I supposeI have actually seen many a fan in general also often argue similarly in reddit and Spectrum (not just now), hence my comment. That is the smoothest sounding stream ever to grace this thread!
