Summary
System: Colonia
Station: Jaque's Station (Orbis Starport, large pads available, 1,460 Ls from main star, 22,000 Ly from Sol)
Objective: Deliver Coffee, Emergency Power Cells, Geological Equipment and Liquid Oxygen
Time limit: 17th February 3308 @ 06:00 UTC

Description
Deliveries have been requested in the Alcor and Colonia systems to implement services to the Colonia Bridge starports.
A press release from Brewer Corporation provided the details:
The fourth and final phase of our Colonia Bridge project will take place over the next four weeks. Our goal is to finish constructing the starports that were recently added to the route between the Colonia and Alcor systems.

For the first week, we require deliveries of Coffee, Emergency Power Cells, Geological Equipment and Liquid Oxygen to Jaques Station in the Colonia system. If we receive sufficient commodities, we can add Universal Cartographics and Vista Genomics to the starport closest to the Colonia region.
Everyone at Brewer Corporation was impressed by the galactic community’s dedication to improving the travel corridor to the Colonia region. For this week’s initiative, contributing pilots have the opportunity to be rewarded with a generous number of credits. In subsequent weeks, we will be offering a variety of additional rewards.

Following feedback from our shareholders, we also plan to install beacons to recognise the major contributors to all phases of the Colonia Bridge project. The top ten contributors of every past and upcoming Colonia Bridge initiative will be listed on these beacons to immortalise the names of these pilots.
The Colonia Bridge starports currently offer rearm, refuel and repair services as well as basic commodity trading. The second, third and fourth weeks of this phase will focus on adding further services.
Each tier reached will enable Brewer Corporation to establish a further service to the first starport out from Colonia, as follows:
  • Tier 1: Universal Cartographics
  • Tier 2: Vista Genomics
Part one of the four-week campaign begins on the 10th of February 3308 and will run for one week.
To earn rewards you must sign up as an active participant before delivering Coffee, Emergency Power Cells, Geological Equipment and Liquid Oxygen to Jaques Station in the Colonia system.
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.
Notes:
  • Jaques Station is at planet 4
  • Station services: Commodities Market, Black Market, Shipyard, Outfitting, Repair, Restock, Refuel, Tech. Broker, Interstellar Factors, Fleet Carrier Vendor/Admin, Social Space
  • Prices at Jaques Station:
    • Coffee: 11,992 Cr/T
    • Emergency Power Cells: 18,944 Cr/T
    • Geological Equipment: 15,088 Cr/T
    • Liquid Oxygen: 11,792 Cr/T

So, bulk goods from planets and medium pads (and Moore's Charm, while supplies last). All this for UC in a system that already has it. Nothing for a console peasant to do with that. But if we get the VG installed, will it auto-trigger Frontier's imminent announcement that console support is cancelled after the fiscal year?

I can't say there's much in this for me at all. I think the whole Colonia Bridge project is useless as it exists and is forecast. We get no automatic ferries, we get no bump in tritium supply, we get nothing more than suburbs.

Colonia locals, are we really going to put effort into this?

we get no bump in tritium supply
It's an interesting point that while Galnet says the new stations should have operational markets by now, they don't appear to.

Me, I'm just happy enough that it's not more Ceramic Composites that I'll happily haul a few rounds! The target's not particularly high so no need to rush flat out.

That is .. not a generous number of credits?
To repeat myself answering a similar moan in t'other thread: you say that as though Tier rewards are the only money you're making. How much profit are you making per run on top of that? Because buy prices for CG goods are usually significantly higher than for normal trade runs, and that's factored into the tier rewards.

Sure, it's 10k/tonne on the trade goods themselves. Also known as "the normal profit you'd get for moving the better non-CG trade goods in favourable states". I mean, I'm not doing this for the money anyway, but there are trade goods I could pick up at the stations I'm picking up CG goods in that I could sell to Jaques for greater profit.

(For comparison, the previous Colonia Bridge trade CG, where the cash reward was basically incidental, paid out over ten times as much in tier bonuses as this one is doing)

I'm not really miffed by the 10k/t proffit

But i'm extremely miffed by the way tiers are set.
2 tiers only? it's freaking pathetic when you read this in the cg text

For this week's initiative, contributing pilots have the opportunity to be rewarded with a generous number of credits

If the CG tops at 1 billion tons, why not have 8-11 tiers? with at least 7 tiers reachable
So people know indeed what they're working for and the quote above has some substance?

Not to mention that the CG objectives are kinda pathetic as well. UC and VG?
Any DSSA carrier, and like any carrier generally speaking, will have those starting with U11

I picked up a couple of thousand tonnes for this CG, but having seen the reward I'll stop loading and drop them off and maybe go try my hand at Flaming Station Rescues.
