Right now, the best way to get Manufacturing Instructions is farming data pads at Impact Sites. This is fine, and I don't care about that, but I would like there to be a more interactive way to acquire them.
So I propose that doing CZs will reward you with Manufacturing Instructions. Low CZs will give 1, Medium will give 2, and High will give 3. This will still be significantly slower than grinding them at Impact Sites, but will allow players to acquire them by doing something actually gameplay interactive.
Hopefully, this will make the game more interactive, and more engaging.
If you really wanted to make this particularly interactive, you could do it by adding occasional 'special' Capture Points, and when you capture them, they give you the data. They could be a different color, to indicate they are especially valuable, and since most players tend to ignore the capture points and instead focus on killing enemies, it could be a nice change of pace, making capturing an enemy-controlled point more important.
Thoughts?
