Well, I sense the sarcasm, but absolutely
we should be advising people of what the game is like and letting them make their choice. If you want end-game, story-based/scripted or simulation, this isn't it. I'd also argue at the moment that this is not MMO *or* sandbox (I'm sorry, but some people are bandying that about far too easily). If it is a sandbox, then that's all it is (ie. they've not given you a bucket or spade, let alone some nice plastic moulds and a sieve)...
I agree. I'm sad for those who have found E: D not to their liking, but then there's plenty of games I've bought before now only to find they didn't really grab me. It's part of gaming.

I also think watching the youtube videos, twitches and other forms of streaming will be better than listening to this or anyone elses (even my own) opinion.
To be perfectly honest, I HATE this game...but i also LOVE it for the most part.
Sadly I have to agree. The number of duplicate and repeat posts is only getting worse.

I do go back there for a rest but I do try to keep abreast of the main arguments here. The repeat and duplicates are... tiresome but I TRY to remember that for these people a lot of the time it's the first time they've had this argument, whereas for me, it's my 25th venture in EVE and PvP topics...
I see the same ... ED is not for every one ... but with the Videos on You Tube they maybe think that it is so cool, but than they see that it is different from other Games which they know before., and get frustated.
Best examples are the threads about Tutorials/How to Flight/Fight and so on .... I am not a Youngster, and normally I have in this FP-Games problems, to react fast enough (one more reason for me to play Solo/Offline.. ), but not in ED, yes in the beginning it wasn´t a little bit crashing landing, but now I have the Coal to catch the "H" ... In ED YOU learn, and skill your Char/Ship.

Sometimes the search didn´t help ... and if you reall seek an answer its helpful to start your own Thread .... if your search for FSD and must read all Threads which include FSD.../even this one now...
) than you never get fast your answer. Maybe the Moderators must merge more, so that the Double vanished faster.... but they have only 24h hours and I guess they are not working for FD.So we must live with the Double Threads....

I like how people complain about it all the time.... but most of them can't stop playing even with the identified issues... I like their passion regarding the current issues in the game and the fact that it currently doesn't meet the intentions of Frontier or the expectations of their fans who have been on this ride with them for years. I am not going to judge until we have Gamma. Then we will find out if this is going to be released in beta condition like SWG was back in the day. (I loved SWG too, regardless of the fact it was at launch)
This is NOT like every other game out there that has programmed an entire generation (or two) regarding what a game should be (achievement and super loot treadmill). It's different. If you can't handle that then you need to go play something else and stop whining about how this isn't WoW in space...
