there is nothing wrong with the lighting in elite. You just haven't got the power cells fully charged

Tons of factors. Market is down in general, their JW2 release was not well received, Odyssey was not well received, Lemnis Gate not well received, COVID, etc. This Console cancellation will cause a hit once the investors hear about it. I think FDEV is about to do some downsizing or reorganization.
If I'm going to be brutally honest...I never wanted this game on console in the first place. I wanted it to be PC exclusive and no attention diverted. You know what we got with console? CQC. Coincidence? I think not....

I was actually taken aback by this chain of events, the company had sid PC optimisations / fixes first then the console ports, and not a jot about my belovbed VR. So I had taken them at their word and I genuinely thought they were working on PC optimisation to make EDO viable on console, then it would be ported. I never foreseen them deciding to cut off another significant section of the playerbase.
Basically everything they released between 2020 and 2022 was not received well. It's been quite some time since they've released something that was actually received positively. Stack that on top of two years of Covid and a general downturn of the market, and it's honestly no shocker their share price is through the floor.
I recall hearing rumours already a few weeks ago that there was a big managerial restructuring going on internally. Wonder if the console cancellation was a symptom of that.
I knew consoles weren’t into the game for as much money as pc… but I figured they were going f to make it happen if they could. Forget the whining, it was all about the cheddar! They literally made the choice that will cost them the least money and perhaps garner the most in the end.
What are you even talking about?
The game will die at some point, so its kind of silly to worry about it.
